Title: A few from Red Funnel

I've just posted a few photos of some Red Funnel vessels in my gallery and with little else to do this Saturday evening I thought I'd share them with you - you lucky bunch of people! :P

Thanks for those.

I always wonder why the Red Jets are that shape - you would think that they would be a lot more streamlined if the bow was more pointy, ala Superseacat.

And oh, isn't the Hythe Ferry a rustbucket!

Have you recently bought a new camera? The footer of 'Taken with...' looks like it's different then some of your older photos.

Blimey, you're observant! lol

Yup, I got a new camera for christmas. My old one was starting to fall apart(ish). The front slider refused to automatically go back across the lens without needing a good slap. After all, there's nothing electrical a good whack can't sort out.

Anyway, I'm digressing. It's a panasonic TZ2. I wanted as bigger zoom as possible without going into SLR territory, so this 10x model was perfect!
Found it for only £130 in John Lewis just before christmas, must be an old model though as now you only see the TZ3 around for £100 more with 1 million more pixels and a few minor additions.

Forgot to add - yes the Hythe ferry was a little bit on the rusty side!

That camera sounds good value.

When I changed cameras in August, I nearly went for the Samsung NV5
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-NV5-Digita...00416536&sr=8-1

But got put off when I realised it was an SLR, so went for the boring Benq E720 instead http://www.benq.co.uk/products/digicam/?product=704
It's ok - not brilliant, but it serves me well for the odd time I use it.
