In a sudden move over the last two days, LD Lines have massively invested in the port of Newhaven.
That got your attention, didn't it. :D
Well, OK, they've replaced some of the Transmanche signage with LD lines. I'll take a pic or two and post them on photobucket. Maybe it's the start of something...
Seriously, they seem to be well pleased with the way things are going, and I can tell you that the lorry park is as full on Sunday evenings as it ever was under Stena/Sealink. Why Sunday evenings? You can't drive a truck at the weekend in France, so they all pile on to the late sailing and hit the ground running when they arrive.
Sorry about the mixed metaphors there, but you know what I mean.

Is the TM brand going to go completely? Is this going to be the end of the sandbank livery?
I like the LD Livery on Norman Spirit - any chance of a template of the 7S/CDA for a playabout with the LD livery? ;)

Wahey!! ALL the signs are now predominantly LD branded, with just the TM logos on green. Please, oh please, let them repaint the ships for next season.
