Yes it had to rain this morning!

We had a bootsale planned at my old school - we were helping on the refreshments stall so had loads of bacon, buns, burgers etc ready. 7am we turn up, hardly anyone there as it's already spitting with rain.

Then the heavens open and for the next hour we get torrential rain which puts everyone off coming and holding a stall.

Therefore there were 8 of us, all the organisers and about 7 people who turned up to see if it was on standing round drinking tea and coffee and trying to scoff as many bacon rolls as we could.
So now we are happily wallowing in a sea of bacon, burgers and rolls! Hurrah for the rain!

(P.S - The rolls go off on Tuesday and we've got about 160 to get rid of. Any suggestions? :rolleyes: )

Find some ducks...

Good point, thing is my mum's also got a large packet of duck food that she decided was necessary when walking round a garden centre the other week. Me thinks they'd better be hungry ducks!

What does the duck food consist of? Bread?? :rolleyes:

On the subject of weather, I went sailing today and there was no wind at all! :lol: We were drifting sideways for most of the time! :D

Don't think so, my aunt keeps ducks on her farm and feeds them special duck food, tis all protein and vitamins and stuff... dough wouldn't think garden centres sell the same stuff...
