Cobelfret has acquired Ferrways according to their website:
http://www.ferryways.com/ShowDoc.asp?id=26Also. CFF Seine recently struck the Western Pier in Ostend, virtually destroying it. I will post a link to pictures later.

Ow, sounds nasty! That must've been hit with a fair bit of force to nearly destroy it.

A bit ironic really when you consider that Ostend's Eastern pier had started to be demolished properly around the same time.
By the way, my post should explain that the whole pier wasn't destroyed but a sizeable section was.
Still trying to find some pics but will post if I find them.
Ferrways have unexpectedly now filed for bankruptcy. Vessels are currently anchored in/off Ostend, except Calibur which is in Immingham.
Hi
I have just been reading about this on another web site. (Shipspotting.com) It looks like the something has hit the fan so to speak. Interesting to see what the out come of this will be.
Regards
Karl

Latest is that Cobelfret will resume services but from Dartford... Not confirmed however, just one of many rumours.
