According to John Luxton on the ISS Yahoo Group, Emeraude France is to provide cover for the stricken Sea Express 1.
Also, Seacat Scotland has been sold to Fortune Maritime Ltd. of Greece who are to use her in Eastern Mediterranean services as the Shikra.
Forgot to post this before, she arrived in Douglas last week (pics on ISS link below) and has been recieving maintenance due to a failed Paris MoU inspection. She is today shown as heading to Liverpool on AIS, though its not a commercial crossing I think.

As far as I know, that's not out of the ordinary for a Seacat - Hoverspeed Diamant made some very smoky departures from Dover, and likewise does Speed One when it isn't too windy.
Off topic I know, but those jets really are fantastic when the craft is going at full speed... :)

Oooh yes, but I certainly wouldn't want to fall off the back of one into those "jet plumes"! :o
