Stormarksgothi,

It is the time of the year that a date for the Closure of the Althing ceremony must be chosen. Which day in December would be most convenient for you?

rosalie - November 14, 2005 11:51 PM (GMT)
Good Evening To You, Your Majesty,

Any date that You choose in December is perfectly fine for me, Thank You . . .

Have a most thoughtful evening . . . forthwith . . .

Thorfinn - November 15, 2005 02:01 PM (GMT)
If the day of the week doesn't matter, the 21st would work. If it should be a Friday, the previous Friday, the 16th would work.

I will likely be driving to Florida on the 23rd, which would otherwise be the ideal day.

Stormarksgothi,

I would like to keep the Althing open as long as possible so I would prefer December 21.

Good Evening To You, Your Majesty,

As far as I am concerned, December 21st is a good date for the Closure of the Althing Ceremony . . .

The 21st it is, then. :D

Stormarksgothi,

You are going to Florida for a wild holiday full of beer and beach babes? ;)

Thorfinn - December 19, 2005 12:35 PM (GMT)

Hardly.

I don't drink alcohol, and I'm going with my fiancee...I doubt she'd approve of the babes... <_<

Also, it's a bit cool where I'm going for that kind of entertainment, around 60-65 degrees fahrenheit.

I'm going to spend time with my family, actually. My big excitement is likely to be seeing manatees or dolphins (depending on what we decide to do this year).

Do those Christmas family gatherings go well in your family? A lot of those Christmas family gatherings in many other families end in bickering and fighting because old grudges come out.

We actually do pretty well.

And it's likely to stay that way as long as the Republicans are in charge in the US...

The only arguments we ever really get into are on politics - me versus my dad - I dislike the Republicans, and he dislikes whoever is in power...

:P

Good Morning To You, My Gentle Friends,

Well, once every Twenty Years, The Presidency should be good for something!!! . . .

Oh Dear . . .

That was not a Generous Comment!!! . . .

Well, let's amend that . . .

Once every Twenty Minutes, the Presidency should Offer something Positive for the Nation . . .

There . . . That's Much Better!!! . . .

Have a most thoughtful morning . . . forthwith . . .
