mitiaro lake; all of the rivers in the lands of Second Chances run into mitiaro lake. the water here is pretty much always bright blue, with a somewhat greenish tint to it. some think of it as more of an ocean than a lake because of this reason and its sandy shores. tall trees of all shapes and sizes surround the lake and it's FULL of life. tons of fish, insects, turtles, birds, frogs, and yup--dogs are found lurking in the beautiful mitiaro lake. |

cypress woods; mostly pine trees are found in the woods of cypress, stretching miles and miles upwards. so tall you can barly see the tops of them. no trails run through these woods, so it's particulary easy to get lost. all sorts of brush and bramble are found at the forest floor, pefect for hiding places. in some spots of the woods lie small ponds, if you're thirsty or want a quick swim. in most parts of the woods, soft green grass grows tall but not quite as tall as the woods here. |

nivritti river; the biggest and most popular river around these lands. fresh blue water flows and trickles down rocks, and salmon and trout swim in packs under its surface. in some spots of the river, there are small waterfalls but they are rare to see and barley ever really big. beautiful wildflowers bloom on the banks of the river in the springtime, and nivritti river is a beautiful sight to see alltogether. if you follow the river downhill, eventually you'll end up at mitiaro lake. |

skyborn fields; these fields are called 'skyborn' for a reason. the fields are VERY hilly, and almost everywhere you step you'll find yourself on some sort of a hill; overlooking the beautiful green grass below you. it feels like you're actually touching the clouds. there aren't much flowers here, only grass and you'll often find rabbits or deer grazing in it. if you're small enough, the grasses cover yourself entirley, so if you don't want to be seen at all this is the place to go. |

the highway; most dogs fear the highway, with the continous roaring of the big cars zooming up and down the road. it stretches on for what seems like forever, yellow lines dotting it all the way. the only way for dogs to get to the town however, is to cross the highway. it really isn't that hard, if you try. dogs wait for an opening and eventually they got across no problem. this isn't an extremely bush highway, so really there isn't much of a threat at all. |

the town streets; this is where are the hustle and bustle takes place. with a town this busy, humans are constantly seen walking the sidewalks of the town. traffic jams are almost an every-day thing here. if it's a meat shop, library, book store, school, church--all of it is here. down some of the town streets are alleyways, the most dangerous part of town for dogs. there are some good garbage pickings down the alleyways, which is a plus. |

the graveyard; you've gotta be a brave soul to enter the graveyard. even when you first set paw in the creepy place, chills are sent up your spine and you get that feeling that somebody is watching you. there is a rumour going around town that humans have spread; that the old man who takes care of the graveyard is blind in both eyes and has only one leg but not all believe this. big and small old graves are scattered everywhere here, along with dead willow trees that hang low to the ground. |

the cornfield; if you want a pretty sight and a good snack, the cornfield's the place to head. it's beautiful with it's bright green and yellow colors; and when the corn is in season it's pretty much hard to resist! There is a narrow trail in the depths of the field, that farmers had made long ago. if you travel it for too long, you're bound to get lost eventually. not many humans are around the cornfield but during halloween, the field is decorated with scary things and there are tons of kids running around in costumes; hoping not to get lost in the corn maze. |
