Introduction

Welcome members of the Graphics Requests Galore website! This is a simple introduction to how this website was designed to run. Please read it and act accordingly. Thank you.

What Requesters Should Do

Post your request in the appropriate forum. Please do this website a favor and try to make it as small as possible. Understand that if all the members asked for large requests the people who actually receive theirs will be few and far between. If your request is too big it will be closed by a moderator. Once you post your request please wait. An artist should reply to your topic with any questions he has about your request and you should, of course, reply and answer them all as best you can. He will then begin work on your request. At this point, be patient and wait. You can check the status of your project in the “Status” forum. If a week has gone by and the artist still isn’t finished you may send him a PM asking him what’s going on. Please be polite when you do, realize that all the artists on this website are working as hard as they can. When your topic in the “Status” forum states that your request is finished please go to the topic that you started when you asked for your request and the artist should have posted the final product there. Now, if you request something and no artist ever replies saying he’ll do it: You MUST wait one week before you bump your topic. If you consistently bump your topic it will be closed by a moderator and your request will be rejected.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you are satisified with the results you receive!

Edit: Due to difficulties with the “Status” forum, it has been removed. Please check your status in the topic in which you posted your original request. Thank you.

What Artists Should Do

First thing’s first. Try to avoid working on more than three requests at once. If you don’t someone might be completely forgotten about. Now, if you don’t have anything to do: Go to your proper forum.

If you are a good spriter: Go to the “Sprite Requests Galore” forum.
If you are a good background or tile set maker: Got to the “Background Requests Galore” forum.

If you are good at making logos: Go to the “Logo Requests Galore” forum.

Once you’re in the right forum, start browsing through the topics. (Please don’t offer to do a request that has already been filled by another artist.) Once you find one you think you can do, reply to the topic with any questions you have. Or, if you don’t have any questions, reply stating that you’ve begun work on the request. Then go the “Status” forum and post with the proper information so that the requester can check on the progress of their request. Once the request is finished, go to the original topic started by the requester and reply with the final product.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. And thank you for joining the Graphics Requests Galore Team!
