Title: Cabramatta International Nines

Fletch - January 8, 2009 05:14 AM (GMT)
Just saw on the Cabramatta rlfc website that the nines tournament will be held on Saturday 7th Feb and Sunday 8th Feb 2009 at Cabramatta.
Will Wests be competing again?

I hope so. Was a fun day out last year!

tecee - January 11, 2009 03:41 AM (GMT)
Is it definitely over two days?

Fletch - January 17, 2009 11:35 PM (GMT)
Tecee, I rang the club and it is definitely over 2 days.
Don't know the format for both days, but I'll be there for for sure!!!!!
That's if Wests are in it.

tecee - January 18, 2009 02:47 AM (GMT)
I'm on arvo's both days so I won't be able to get out there, one day tournament perhaps, but not two. Hope everyone enjoys a good feed of chicken at Cabbra leagues again, bonza finger food that.

C'arn the Pies!!!!!!!!!!

Our application is in.

archivistcraig - January 26, 2009 10:19 PM (GMT)
SO WHEN WILL YOU KNOW IF WE ARE IN OR NOT?

Andrew Waite - January 27, 2009 03:58 AM (GMT)
I don't think they knock back applications.

archivistcraig - January 30, 2009 12:55 AM (GMT)
SO WHEN DO WE PLAY?

galahs - January 30, 2009 01:14 AM (GMT)
I am hoping to be able to get to the Sunday games, that is if the Magpies are playing.

galahs - January 30, 2009 05:29 AM (GMT)
Draw Updated

galahs - January 30, 2009 05:30 AM (GMT)
Very tough draw!

rocket - January 30, 2009 06:38 AM (GMT)
has the side been selected for the nines ???/

Fletch - January 31, 2009 03:16 AM (GMT)
They have obviously put the top 4 sides in the same pool to give the other sides a bit of a chance.
You're right Graeme, it is a tough draw but it will be interesting to see if the boys have got what it takes this season!!!!!!!!!
Any chance of putting up the draw for both days? :D

galahs - January 31, 2009 09:50 AM (GMT)
Day 2 are finals. So not too sure which ones we will be in.
You can see the full draw here http://www.nswrl.com.au/news/article.php?id=541

At this stage I will be at Sundays game and all going well Saturday as well.
It all depends if I get the weekend off. Fingers crossed!

galahs - February 1, 2009 09:23 AM (GMT)
Looks like I wont be able to attend Saturdays games, so it looks like I'll have to make do with going just on the Sunday :(

Andrew Waite - February 2, 2009 02:05 AM (GMT)
An updated draw has been issued with us moved into Group A along with Windsor, Southern District Rebels (Cronulla), and Campbelltown Eagles. No quarantees that won't change again though.

Our first game is 11:25 am on Ground 2 against the Rebels then,
2:20 v Windsor on Ground 1, and
5:15 v Eagles (G1)

galahs - February 2, 2009 07:32 AM (GMT)
Can someone who goes on Saturday report back with the results.
