I suppose we need to talk about also how we can build members in it so we can get more people to the games. :magpies: Maybe a supporters club t shirt or some sort of merchandise?Maybe a members badge or card?Advertising on the Wests Magpies +tigers sites would help to recruit. :magpies:

The priority of the club is Club membership.

I think we should push for everyone to become members of the Magpies.

But there is no reason we couldn't have an un-offiical supporters group as such.

If you want to support the Magpies join the Football Club. It's your season ticket, merchandise discount voucher, and say in the running of your club all rolled into one.

you'll probably find that most of us are members and have possibly renewed membership for 2009 already (like me) - this is just a little something extra to celebrate being a magpie! :agree:

I have often wondered if there could be a way of showing further support. Something like a Diehards or Platnium level Football Club membership.

It costs extra (raising more money for the club) but you get alittle something extra to show your level of support (an exclusive special Diershards / Platnium membership cap or shirt???)

Supporters club gear - magpie jerseys
Membership - football club

With the Western Stand not available for most the year how about we all sit together in the eastern stand on half way.

Would be great to create the atmosphere we had going at Brookvale on a more regular basis !! If Newtown can do it so can the Magpie fans !!

I like the idea and agree with you.
I would be willing to go the extra $$ for the club.
I am also a pensioner but Im sure if I saved hard enough it wont be a challange.

I think it's a top idea to have something like a "platinum" membership. I'd fork out the extra dough no problems if it helped the maggies and I wouldn't expect any great benefits from it other than a card once a year from the footy club saying thank you for your continuing support of the greatest club in the world.

sounding like majority are more than prepared and willing to go the extra - i think it's gr8 we're thinking of ways to show more financial support - especially in these tight financial times.

also - all sitting together half way eastern side - go for it! only can we get the side gate UNpadlocked - not all of us capable of climbing gracefully over the fence! stop laughing Andrew, Stephen & Graeme!

I think next year the gate will actually be opened as the other grand stand will be closed for construction.
