Hello all I have just been looking through the TV listings for next week and the Timewatch programme about Hadrians Wall is on on Friday 26th, 9pm, BBC2.
:D
For anyone out there who watched the Timewatch program: How was it? What were the highlights? Was it well presented? Give us Americans some feedback!
Matt
Hello Matt
For us Romanists there was nothing new in the programme. Howver it was a wonderful showcase for the Wall and Vindolanda. A lot of time was dedicated to Vindolanda (and why not). Interviews with Robin and Pat, a lot of talk about the finds and even interviews with Andy and Justin (both with their posh TV accents)

Hi all
I have to admit we spent most of the time saying 'Oooh we've been there!' or 'Look its Andy/Justin/Beth/Robin/Patricia!'. <_<
Having said that, we thought it gave an excellent impression of both the wall and especially Vindolanda. It will be interesting to see if there will be a new group of visitors over the coming year.

I thought the programme was great - good general introduction to the area for the interested visitor. The scenery was spectacular and the camera shots were fantastic, especially the sunirse shots taken at 4.00 am in the morning. For anyone in the USA, you can watch clips about the programme and the making of it here:
