Where did August go!
On the floor, just rehearsing a new routine? :huh: 15th Aug.

Looking north, along the east side of the granary, wet weather. 18th Aug.

Work continues clearing out the channels & taking soil samples. Sieving is not possible because the weather has been very wet, crawling under the floor slabs must be very difficult & muddy “clarty” work. There was a young man working in the “chunnel” with a head torch for light! 27th Aug.

I think, er maybe, did it look better with the channels filled-in? Mmm, but after some thought, maybe not. 27th Aug. :ph43r:

More pictures of the “chunnelers”, it’s not easy sorting through mud, & it’s all bucket work between the walls. They’ve all worked very hard over the weeks since June. 27th Aug.
