Description: Aug. 08

MichaelH - August 7, 2008 10:36 PM (GMT)
Outside the heated room, on the right, possibly a stokehole changed to a water tank (the stones set on edge with flat top). The walls are built over flagstones of the earlier 3rd century barracks. 7th Aug. 08

Passageway to the north of the Centurion’s heated room. On the right, a wall of the next building. It’s the last afternoon of the week & everyone’s very busy looking for that last treasure. 7th Aug. 08

Progress moving north of the heated room. 15th Aug.

Looking from the road, the outer wall of the heated room in the foreground, the back wall and passageway is just in front of Ken. Can’t say what Trudy is doing, (if you’re watching, hello Trudy!). 21st Aug.

Trudi - October 21, 2008 04:58 PM (GMT)
Hello Michael! It looks like I am having a little cry into my bucket in that picture. I think you must have been telling me off again!

MichaelH - October 26, 2008 10:32 PM (GMT)
Oh Trudi! how sad lass,
but no one will believe that Michael could tell anyone off, especially you Trudi. :ph43r: I couldn’t risk another one of those withering looks you give! (Had my pacemaker reset so it’s alright now…joking!) and just because some poor “old” soul mistakenly put sugar in your coffee, and just look at the mess we’re in with those financial people loosing all that money. We’re all doomed.
Will you be volunteering for next year, hope so, it’s almost time now. I’ve been looking at the dates and just wondering which week to book, to avoid clashing with you, although I see there are places available in the north field over the Stanegate. Maybe that would be suitable for you?
However with your influence in the management department (photo evidence herewith) maybe I’ll be banished to the far north field. Do visit :D
