Hi Kate! Yeah, I was looking at that birthday thing not long ago, wondering about the downsides as well as the up. :) Fortunately by dumb luck site moderators get to stay 29 forever. Nice perk, that.

Ruby is amazing. 5 1/2 months now, and every day it's something new! (Picture attached because, well, proud-papa syndrome strikes.) We've decided we're stopping at one. She's such an incredibly easy, nice kid, we figure the karma gods definitely would have a pure terror awaiting us for #2!

Enjoy the holiday next month! I'm jealous.
