I made these up a long time ago...in my version, the leader gets 9 lives as well, but you can cancel that if you want. Slightly inspired by Alta. (A good book!)
They live on top of Highstones, although they never enter the tunnel. They hate the Clan cats, because they had beeen ridiculed long ago for their belief.
These cats believe in pure freedom. If they had a theme song, it'd be "I Believe I Can Fly." They have their own warrior ancestors, and they believe that long ago their kind had wings. (True?)
The Winged Four
~Greatest One~ The leader, their name always ends in -wings. Females cannot have kits.
~In Becoming~ The deputies, there are always two and their names end in -feather. When the leader dies, the oldest deputy goes to the Greatstone to receive a leader name. Females cannot have kits.
~Starspeaker~ The med. cat, speaks to their ancestors by the Greatstone(tallest point of rock), name always ends in -beak. Cannot have kits. Period. Can take an apprentice.
Fledglings (consists of patrols)
Food Patrol (hunts for food)
Battle Patrol (plans battle strategy, and defends the camp)
Clan Patrol (like Battle Patrol, but specifically for the Clans)
(Hierachy for each patrol)
~Leader~ Leader of a patrol. Their name always ends in -talon. They can have kits, but they will lose their position and their patrol leader name.
~Patrollers~ General members of the patrol, any name ending except for a Sacred one. If their patrol leader dies or has kits, the leader will choose one of them to lead the patrol. (see above)
~Just-Fledged~ Young cats training to be patrollers. Their names always end in -paw.
Wing-Clipped
~Nesting~ She-cats expecting or nursing kits.
~Old-Ones~ Cats too old or injured to take on patrol duties.
~Kits~ Cats under six moons old. Their names always end in -kit.
