Yayz, my first Pokemon Journey Fanfic! 8D
If any of you read Rurouni-The Lost Trainer, then this is Luci's journey before she left everybody! Wewt! Anyways, it takes place in Sinnoh, and it's.....Well, her Journey! I may need some charcters, because I might run low. Kay? So, if you have a character, then PM me. Sokay, now t' start! >D

Chapter 1: Awaken! The Journey Begins!

Usually, most people expect an adventure to start out awesome. Like, Motzart was able to play the piano at 2 or something. And Einstein was a genius. If you think that this'll end up like that, WRONG!! Just sit down and listen. I'll tell MY story this time.

It was like any other day, I was sleeping. The sun was shooting it's long, shiny fingers all around my room, getting into every nook and cranny. A particulary huge nose-bubble was coming out my nose, until my alarm clock rang.
BRRRRRRRRRRIIIIINNNNNGGGGGLLLLLLLIIIINNGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!
"WAAAAAA!!!!!" My nose bubble popped, I fell outta my bed with a thump, and I found myself staring between my legs as they were propped up against my bed. I glared at the window. Shooting up on my feet, I grabbed that stupid clock and threw it on the ground. But since I was such an idiot, I didn't see it heading straight for my foot.

"OUCH!"

That was when I went toppling into a table beside my bed, only to have my veins swell up in electricity. "PIIKKKAAA!!!" Pikchu cried as he shocked me. I was sprawled out on the floor as Pikachu looked qustioningly at me. "Pika?...Chu?"

It was when I sat in the kitchen, my backpack on my shoulders and slurping up the last noodle of my breakfast of Ramen. Pikachu was happily munching up some Pokemon Food I had made. "Like it, Pika?" I asked. "Chu!" Replied the little electric mouse. As I stooid up, throwing away the empty Ramen pack, I glanced up at a poster I made. It always told me to never give up on my dream. I squeezed my fist. Pikachu looked at me. He knew I had this dream for a long time. "C'mon, Pikachu." I murmured. "We're gonna show everyone what we can do!!" Pikachu smiled. He remembered this face of mine!

Quickly, I locked the door, and I ran down the steps of my place. It was early in the morning, but Twinleaf Town always was up early. As I ran down the road, I noticed a kid looking at me. "Hi!" I cried. He glared at me. It was weird, but I was used to it. Another kid passed by. "Hey! Were are you going?" He asked. His mom suddenly came up to him and pulled him away. "I thought I told you not to talk to her!" She cried. I felt terrible. After that, every person I passed gave me a horrible look. That look. It felt like a gun shoot me in the heart. It hurt so bad.

We finally came to a fork in the road. No, seriously. There was a fork in the road. I picked it up and put it in my pocket for no reason. Just a habit, I geuss. But, yeah, there were two roads leading different ways. One way was to Sandgem Town, the other was to Lake Verity. I looked at Pikachu. "D'ya wanna go see Star?" I asked. "Pika." Pikachu nodded. Running down the path, I was exicted to see Star after over 3 weeks. But once I reached the pathway that lead into the Lakefront, I saw two people there. Nobody came here anymore. There was an old man and a boy about my age.

"What do you think, Ryo?" Asked the old man. "...Professer Rowan, there's nothing here. We should go." Ryo replied, seeming dissapointed. "...Fine." Professer Rowan groaned. The two then turned around, and walked away. "Excuse me." Rowan said as he passed me. Ryo passed me, too, but he turned to glare. Again, with the stare! That's when I began to remember. I hated everyone, because they hated me. And I never understood why. Before I knew it, they were gone.

I snapped back to earth with Pikachu tapping my cheek. Looking to the Lake, I saw what must've been their bag. "Oh." I said, running up to it. "Rowan must have forgotten it..." I murmured. Suddenly, Pikachu flew foreward and landed on the ground with great force. "Pikachu!!" I cried. I whirled around. There, glaring at me was a Starly. He looked so ticked off! "Starly!" He growled angrily. Pikachu was barley standing, his eyes set on Starly. "Pikachu! Thundershock!" I ordered. The yellow pokemon had sparks flying, but Starly was very, very fast. He tackled Pikachu hard, and he landed in my arms. As I held him, I knew he was too weak to go on. We must have disturbed Starly's nest while we went to check out the bag. "Go away! I'm sorry if we annoyed you, but please! Just leave us alone!" I cried, trying to fend him off. But the Starly seemed to be much angrier than that. He glowed. The form of his body changed, and it beganto stay that way as the white color disappered. "Oh...No..." I murmured. Starly had evolved to Staravia.

I dropped to the ground. I knew I couldn't win. A staravia was just too powerful. "STARAVIA!!!!!" The angry pokemon roared. He flapped his gigantic wings, sending a huge blast of wind at me and Pikachu. I wanted scream, but I knew no one would hear me. And, even more, nobody would want to help me. Then, the bag. Oh, that bag. I'm so glad that Rowan left it there. When the wind hitme, I whammed into it, making the leather pouch topple over. A pokeball rolled out. I clasped it in my hands. "Okay...Go!!" I cried, throwing it. The Staravia seemed surprised that I had a pokeball. In a blast of light, out came a turtle thingie. "Turtwig!" It cried confidently. "A...Turtwig!?" I gasped. "Wait! A grass type can't beat a flying type!" I knew it well. That's when something flashed in my mind.

Hey! You're not saying I can't win, right? The Turtwig was talking to me! What the--? Never mind, how can I talk to you!?"

Just tell me to do something!

"Fine! Turtwig, uh...Tackle!" I said aloud. I had to admit, that mind-talk thingie made me a little scared of Turtwig. The green little guy did excatly as I said. It hit the dumb bird right on target! "Yes!" I cried. The staravia hit Turtwig right back. But the pokemon was tough to knock down. He skidded on his nimble little feet, and raced with another Tackle as I commanded. The poor bird was getting tired. He was wheezing like there was no tommorow. Finally, he flew off, without a word.

I stood for a moment, staring as he flew, mouth gaping. "WE DID IT!!!!" I cried, jumping up amd down. "YESS!!!" Pikachu leaped out of my hands, dancing with Turtwig, his new friend. But, like I told you earlier, I was an idiot. Sometimes, my idiocy made me do stupid things that almost cost me my life. I could feel the ground giving beneth me, and I found myself gripping the ledge. "HELP!" I cried, this time knowing that there was someone to cry to. Turtwig and Pikachu both ran to help. Pikachu grabbed my hand, and Turtwig grabbed Pikachu. They pulled, and I tried to help by putting my feet on ledges to hoist myself up. But it was no use. The ledge crumpled again, and I fell along with it.

"PIKACHU!!!!!!" TURTWIG!!!!!!"

I could feel cold water swallowing me up. I tried to swim, but the water began to push my head down as if it wanted me to die. The last thing I heard were Pikachu and Turtwig screaming. But that had nothing to do with the last thing I saw. There was a pinkish colored light. It glowed beauitfuly. Then, I felt the water parting as my body came up, and I landed. Gasping, I looked up. There was a small bodied pokem,on floating. He had pink charteristics, and he disappered quickly. "Star..." I murmured.

"Hey! What is this all about!?" Cried a familier voice. "Waaa!" I looked up to see Professer Rowan and Ryo glaring at me. It was silent. I knew that Professer was scary, but not THIS scary! He jabbed a finger at Turtwig. "That is MY pokemon!" He picked up Turtwig's pokeball. "Now. Come back, Turtwig." As if I hadknew I would've done it, I grabbed Turtwig and squeezed him tight. "No! Turtwig is my friend! I won't let you take him away!! And before you say anything, I know this is stealing, I know I could go to jail, I know, I know, I KNOW!! If you heard me tell my story about what we've been through, you'd know that I am his friend!" I had finished my long speech, my eyes having determination in them. Rowan sighed. "Professer?" Ryo asked. "Fine. Luci, yes?" He asked. I nodded slowly, still gripping Turtwig and Pikachu. "You have showed great courage. I was going to take Turtwig and report you to the police, but now I know that you have formed a special bond. I will not break it, even if I had a knife at my throat."

His words touched me. I knew that I could really trust this guy, even after that. I smiled. He grabbed my hand, and placed something in it.

"A Pokedex!?" I cried. "Yes. You are now considered a Pokemon Trainer!" Rowan replied proudly.

Okay, here's Chapter 2!

Chapter 2: Ai, Ai, Ai, Where's my Samurai?

I couldn't believe it! I was finally a Pokemon Trainer! I walked out of Lake Verity, a smile set on my face. Then, rushing up from behind me was one of my new rivals. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. "Hey, Luci! I'm gonna beat you!" He cried. "Shut up, Sai." I snickered. We weren't this friendly, after all, I thought Sai was an idiot when I first met him! It was right after I got my Pokedex...

"NO WAY!!!" Sai was standing at the pathway, staring in disbelif. "You!? The kid nobody wanted!?" He cried, stomping up to me. "Hey! Where d'you get off calling me that!?" I snarled. But he didn't seem t' be listening. He picked up Turtwig and squealed with exitment. "Yey! It's my Turtwig!" I grabbed Turtwig back. "NO!! He's mine!" But he stomped his foot. "No! My Father said I would get Turtwig!" He whined. Ryo took out a PokeBall. "And you can't get Chimchar." He threw the red and white ball. In a flash of light, out came an orange monkey. "Chimchar!" He cried. "W-W-What!?" Sai cried, speechless. Rowan took out a Pokeball. It opened, a blue penguin coming out. "That means you get Piplup." He said. Sai said nothing. He stared at the little pokemon in front of him. Suddenly, he cried out to all of us; "YES! HE's SO COOL!! PIPLUP'S WAY BETTER THAN CHIMCHAR OR TURTWIG!!" Everything was silent. I carefully stepped away from him. Ryo did the same. "Now, now! Get back here!" Rowan cried. We obeyed, I was afraid of him so that's why I came back. He then got very serious. "I want you all to know something." He said. All of us were quiet. "It is your destiny. You all know that there are over 100 Pokemon in Sinnoh. I want each of you to fill up the PokeDex on each of them. A long the way...."-At this part, he looked at me-"...You may learn more about yourself. Each of the trainers I have sent, aimed to become the Pokemon Master. That, you may do so. But does that mean to have the strongest Pokemon on your team? No. It means to develop a strong bond with them and to make them your friends. But not just any bond. A bomd that can never be broken." Everything was quiet again. I closed my eyes. "I promise you. Pikachu, Turtwig. I promise to become the best trainer ever." I lifted my head. "I promise to never let the sun set until my dream becomes real. I promise to never accept defet. I promise to realize my dream and never let it go." Everybody was watching me now. I opened my eyes at looked at the sky. "I promise." Rowan smiled. Ryo smiled. Sai smiled (Kinda). I smiled.

Now, as I walk out of Sandgem, Sai screaming, (he forgot his Pokedex) and Ryo packing up. I was the first one off! YES! Still, I had to be on my feet. Who knows when a pokemon may--"Hry! A Starly!" Right on cue, a Starly flew out of a tree. "Okay, Pikachu!" I cried. "Pika!" He leaped in, ready for a battle. "Thundershock!" I cried. Sparks flew from his cheeks and he squeezed his little paws. "PIIKKAAA!!!" He roared. Starly, well, I don't think he saw it coming because he was soon blasted by the shock. "STARLYY!!!" He cried in pain. Plopping down, he was sizzling. "Okay..." I murmured. Quickly, I grabbed a Pokeball. "Go!" I cried. The Starly popped in, his image disappering in the light. The PokeBall twitched.

Once...Twice...Thrice...Bing! "YES!!!!" I cried. "MUHAHAHA, BEAT THAT< SAI!!!!" I grabbed the ball in my hands. I could see Starly glow with a yellow light, then his woumds dissappered. "Okay, Now, let's look for another Pokemon...." I said, glancing up and down. But, really, Pikachu must've scared 'em all off with his Thundershock. I decided to find a different spot....

But by the end of the day, I had Pikachu, Turtwig, Starly and a Shinx. Yes, a Shinx. His 'captureation' was the same as Starlys except I used Turtwig. But the night was not out of the ordinary. We were all sitting around the fire, eating our dinner. I had Ramen; while the Pokemon had special Pokemon food. Pikachu and Shinx ate Electric Pokemon Food while STarly and Turtwig had the Flying Food and the Grass Food. It was silent for the whole time, with us stuffing our faces. Though, it was when we finished eating that I truly felt happy. The pokemon all were playing, night settling in. I felt a smile form. I reached for a large pocket in my bag and pulled out a Buita Lute, a type of Japenese base or something. I plucked a few strings for the right tune, then I began to play and sing.

One more step along the World I go,
One more step along the World I go,
From the old things to the new,
Keep me traveling along with you.
When the sun sets behind the purple mountains
When the sun rises again over the orange ocean.
One more step along the world I go,
One more step along the world I go,
From the old things to the new,
Keep me traveling along with you.
When the harshest times begin to fall
When we make it through it all.
One more step along the world I go,
One more step along the world I go,
From the old things to the new,
Keep me traveling along with you.
When I couldn’t go any farther
It was you who kept me going with the wind.
One more step along the world I go,
One more step along the world I go,
From the old things to the new,
Keep me traveling along with you.
When the sun sets on the orange ocean
When it rises again over the purple mountains.
One more step along the world I go,
One more step along the world I go,
From the old things to the new,
Keep me traveling along with you.

Once the song was over, I looked at my Pokemon. They all were sleeping. Somehow, though, I knew that they loved my song. Smiling, I put the instrument away, zipping the pocket closed. I laid down in my sleeping bag, my eyes closing. The night whispered quietly to itself, the dark clouds shifting away from the moon. A little ways away, a Houndoom howled. But it didn't sound sad.

It sounded happy.

Yayz, I got it in! >D And Credits to Krystal for giving me the idea for the song.
