Hey there! I'm relatively new here, and have my little serious child Isobel up for plotting! Although she's a bit on the mild side, I guess you could say, she's quite the intelligent young lass. She's the eldest daughter of Lord Cullen Newbury, a fairly recent widower and owner of a large fiefdom. Isobel's brother, Roger, was disowned a few years ago, but she is itching to get in contact with him once more (perhaps stirring up more family drama).
She's politics oriented, so her interest in these matters may cause eyebrows to raise. A bit on the brutally honest side, she may have a few enemies here and there. An arranged marriage is also a possibility.
Also, I'd enjoy it if Isobel became acquainted with the young Miss Lawley because of her almost impending nuptials with Isobel's brother, Julian. Any other lady friends would be quite acceptable.
Plus, the possibility of a serf uprising spreading to the Newbury fiefdom could be interesting.
Any other ideas are appreciated!
Yeah - as your brother, Julian is totally up for plotting. Just give a yell.
Excellent. Perhaps a friendly sibling rivalry that later turns bitter? I'm not functioning totally right now.
Hm. Julian hates confrontation, so I don't know how much of a rival he'd be in any non-academic area, but the idea is interesting. Did you have anything particular in mind?
Although Isobel does know how to read and write, she wouldn't know as much as Julian. I expect he had a rigorous course of studies abroad, no? Anyway, Isobel does have a thing for politics. Perhaps they sort of compete with each other in who gets the best connections and stuff. This rivarly would be a friendly one, of course. Nothing like Julian and Roger would have.
