*Arabia
Did not originally extend so far West, but after the fall of the Camarian Empire 300 years ago it has reached all the way to the coast. The Arabians principally follow the Mohammedan religion. Little is known of it in Scalia or Thiasa.
*The Straits of Camaria
The name is left from the reign of the Camarian Empire. The Straits are notoriously dangerous, with very rough waters; it's one reason why so few venture into Arabia and no war has been waged on them by Scalia, despite the fact that it's believed the Holy Land lies there.
*Duain
The semi-barbaric Northern kingdom bordering Scalia. Ruled by descendents of the pagan Celts, their religion is now Catholicism, though they are far more tolerant of paganism than are the Scalians or the Thiasans. Their religion is in fact heavily modified, integrating several pagan rituals pertaining to the Summer and Winter Solstices, etc.
*Celtic/Viking Lands
Currently hostile to Scalia after King Hadrian VI's attempts to annex them. Inhabited by the two peoples: the peaceful pagan Celts (a Bronze Age people with pale complexions, known for often having red hair) and the warlike ocean-faring Vikings (big, brawny, often blond), who are somewhat more technologically advanced, particularly since they coopt other cultures' technologies.
*Scalia
Made up of numerous baronies, not all shown here. Some remain loyal to King Hadrian VII, but most want their independence.
*Roma
Is its own independent province, home of the Papal Army, currently at war with the excommunicated King Hadrian VII.
