Physical Description (five sentence minimum):
Gergori is by no means an ugly man, with a lean though well muscled body and a mane of ropy, dark hair . His prominent, straight nose sits above thick lips and between high cheekbones, all set into a prominent jaw. His dark eyes are never focused on anything, giving him the appearance that he isn't paying attention. Numerous scars line his face and body, reminders of life before he had learned to fight with his unique condition. Gergori stands among some of the tallest of Baskari men, and his muscle stands out like taut steel ropes.

Gergori moves with the careful, groping gestures of a blind man. In truth, he was born with a condition known as blindsight, although his eyes function, his mind refuses to acknowledge his vision. For all intents and purposes, Gergori is totally blind, having to rely on his other senses to live, however, intense visual stimulus, sudden movements for example, will trigger reflexive actions. It's this unique condition that have lead many, Gergori included, to believe that he has some sort of magic power, a third eye. Despite his disability, Gergori always stands proudly, in a powerful, wide-based stance.

Personality (eight sentence minimum):
Aggressive and warlike, combat is the only thing that Gergori truly lives for, and he is often seen practicing. It's this total devotion to his craft that has lead Gergori to become one of the best warriors of his tribe, indeed of the Baskar in general. Unfortunately, the praise and respect that Gergori receives has inflated his ego, and he has an almost god-like concept of himself. Gergori's favorite subject to talk about just so happens to be himself.

Being essentially blind, Gergori has learned to appreciate his other senses, and his fixation on the tactile is apparent to anyone who seems him picking up and handling just about object he comes across. He believes wholeheartedly in living in the moment, and as such he is an extremely impulsive person. Gergori is well known for violent outbursts, complete with yelling and even physical attacks. He rarely has inhibitions about speaking his mind, and when he wants something, he takes it. It is not unheard of for Gergori to fondle passing women, and, with a legendary sex drive, he sometimes has to hide his sexual escapades. Rumors abound of his relationships with other men, but few have spread such things without a painful visit from Gergori himself.

History (ten sentence minimum):
The only child of a rather infertile woman andher brother, a hunter of low social standing, Gergori had more than a few problems throughout childhood. Since the day he was born, Gergori has been unable to see, his entire world shrouded in darkness. For many years his parents feared he would become useless to society, killed perhaps for his disability. It wasn't until late in his childhood that Gergori displayed remarkable reactions to movements that, by all laws of nature, he shouldn't have been able to see. Driven by his parents' disappointment and society's low expectations of him, Gergori became violent, getting into scuffles with children that sought to tease him about his condition. His blindness lead him to trust his other senses in combat, a trait that helped him a great deal, and when his opponent would stop moving to fool him, Gergori used his strange affliction to “guess” where they were standing.

Early into his teenage years, Gergori hit a growth spurt, he grew tall, and his combative personality made him strong. Now a rather large young man, Gergori became fearsome to those that opposed him, and nearly everyone that stood in his way were demolished by his practiced hands. His elders took a great interest in him, and soon he was offered specialized training. Gergori accepted eagerly, and soon he had honed his body and mind to an exceptional level. When his trainers saw the incredible way that Gergori “saw without seeing” they declared him blessed by Eguzki, and he quickly entered the ranks of the Zerui's greatest warriors.

Throughout his life Gergori had learned that the best way to get things was to take them, as such, Gergori learned to be impulsive and uncaring about others' feelings. Even when his father died of a hunting accident, the young warrior displayed little emotion, and it's well known that he hasn't spoken to his mother in years. Now he stands ready to fight at any moment, and indeed, encourages his superiors to start war often.

Plot Potential: Well, Gergori would definitely participate in any war that happened. He would seek any suitable sacrifices for his tribe. His skills and unique condition would make him well known among the Baskar, and his personality would likely lead to trouble.

SAMPLE RP (with this character only):
“Where am I at, Gergori?” his opponent mocked. Gergori remained silent, listening to the tell tale sound of grass being trampled as the man circled him. Delicate air flows changed as something moved to his left. Gergori swung out his bronze sword suddenly. CLANG! Metal contacted metal as Gergori met his opponent's weapon, the sound of grass underfoot moved away as his opponent backed up.

“My sight goes beyond the eyes, Atze, I'm unbeatable.” He laughed. Atze laughed too, beginning a slow circle around Gergori again. A sudden thud to Gergori's right drew his attention and he turned his head before scolding his opponent.

“You think a thrown rock will fool-” Gergori's words were cut off, a quick swishing noise cut the air and Gergori rolled to avoid Atze's weapon.

“Damn it!” Atze swore, “How do you know?!”

“Eguzki has blessed me.” Gergori lowered his stance, Atze had stopped moving. “I told you Atze, I'm the best, no one beats me.”

The young warrior moved slowly through the grass, still, Atze remained motionless, and for a moment he disappeared to Gergori. Gergori remained calm, lettingng his sightless eyes rest straight ahead of him.

“I will always find you, Atze.” Gergori said with a laugh. Suddenly he sprang into the air, lunging forward, brandishing his blade. It was a wild guess, but it paid off as he felt the tell tale vibration of blade on blade. Atze grunted and they were locked in a wicked duel. A series of swishes indicated where his opponent's sword fell, Gergori blocked them all, lashing out with his blade as quick as a viper strikes. Suddenly he felt his blade stick, the sensation of metal within flesh. Warm droplets spattered Gergori's face and bare chest.

“Impossible...” Atze gasped before he dislodged himself from the sword. There was a loud thump as Atze fell to the ground. Gergori wiped blood from his brow, licking it off his hand with maddened delight.

“Eguzki makes all possible, Atze, but I don't need to tell you, you're going to meet him.” Gergori laughed as he turned, long blades of grass scraping at his calves.

What's the name of the Creator God the Ekaini worship?: ((yes))

This is great! Just one note: when women marry Baskari men, they don't take their last names, so his mother's last name is either a coincidence, or she's his father's sister (which is allowed in that culture anyway). You may want to change this, but it isn't required.

Moving on--you know how awesome I think it is that you've given him blindsight. There are several Zerui I think he could relate to. I have a couple of the myself. It might also be fun for him to meet Renna, who's an 'interloper' Thiasan, and surprise her incredibly by 'guessing' that she isn't just a regular Zerui.

That would be funny.

And I think you'll really enjoy RPing out battle scenes. This is a unique, wonderful character, your writing is excellent, and I'm glad to have you. Welcome to Thiasa.
