This is a very creative app. I like that we're playing with different religions, and we've brought in Vikings. His history ought to be very interesting as he interacts with people. Your description of his appearance also struck me as very well-done, and I don't usually even like that stuff. In any case, I think you do have plot potential aplenty here.
One note: I'm actually not sure, shamefully, but isn't the 'Viking' language Norse? I know I'm not specific on this board, so it doesn't really matter, I suppose.
In any case, maybe he can stop by the garrison or even the Keep, or Lawley fiefdom, to entertain--he could conceivably meet anyone. OR he could be a suspect once someone finds out my physician, Thomas Finch, has been robbing graves in Lawley. Hm. I think you can have fun with this. Welcome to Thiasa.
I guess it was Norse...But then the Vikings were all over the place and assimilated into several cultures. I'm using Norwegian for any of those little words (grandfather, etc.) but just called it "Viking" because I didn't know what to call it here. XD;
