Hi everyone :] I'm new here. I just joined today. Sooo. I need some plots/threads. I'm not totally sure where to start lols. As is the case with any new site you join.
My character is -- James Amherst. He is a silk importer. Rest of the details are in his application.
I had one idea already though! The idea is that James's father arranges a marriage for him and that makes him really angry. Then, he meets this guy and ends up falling for him but he denies it forever. He is having issues with his sexuality. Poor thing.
Slash is much love and a totally passionate/consuming relationship would be very fun.
So, if anyone wants to play the girl, that would be amazing. It would be really fun too.
But he needs everything! Friends, enemies, crushes whatever. I'm up for anything.

Actually, if I can do it correctly, Niamh has a brother who is a gay clergyman. Doubly forbidden on both accounts! I can play the brother (who will never come in contact with Niamh at all, for the record) if you'd like me to.

James is a silk importer and Ciaran is a silk merchant. They could work together and strike up a sort of business friendship? Also, the gay priest mentioned below is also Ciaran's brother. They were close friends until the brother deserted the family business and joined the church. Ciaran's still a bit bitter at losing his brother and business partner.
It could be interesting.

No offense Ciaran, though-Unless some REAL BIG BIGSHOT steps in, her family is probably going to place her with James because he has a manor. Katherine Lawley wants to marry her off well.
Oh and shes' a calculating, clever, powerful little child....who has a thing with a serf leading the rebellion. WHAT A TANGLED WEB WE WEAVE.
