Right, so I'd like to spar with someone. Lt. Tremaine is a good, gritty fighter, with a bit of contempt for nobility/cavalry officers. If anyone wants to take a crack at him, go for it. Your choice of weapon, of course. (He'd prefer polearms, axes, or at best sidesword, but come at him with a longsword and he'll do his best).

The insults won't get too bad, as he's a professional, but it depends on how angry you make him.

Avast my friend. I'd be honored to join you. Deora's combat experience comes from street fighting so he'll probably be less proffessional. You'll probably still win due to my lack of roleplaying skill and awful grammer. So, Deora will be a pretty nasty opponent who won't hesitate to go fists on fists. Expect some gutter fighting.

On the topic of weaponry I was considering axepikes. What do you think?

As for weapon--I'm thinking a hache? Since it may be what you mean by 'axe pike', and it's the weapon of the infantry in any case.

On second though how do you feel about broadswords. And three rounds is fine.

Sure--broadswords, longswords, whatever sorts of swords are good by me.

Broadswords seem like a sound choice. I expect that one of the officials will warp over here and have us start. Good luck in kicking my can.
