Ciarda is twenty years old, with wine-red curls and blue eyes. She's slightly taller than average (5'7") and also fairly curvaceous, but really the main thing is that she's attractive, which is useful in drawing customers willing to pay a little more for their enjoyment. In case that's not clear, she's a whore.
Despite her questionable occupation, she has a thing about being classy. Unlike many of her coworkers Ciarda does not wear the standard revealing attire in scarlet satin or whatnot; she dresses like a Thiasan noblewoman. (A nice dress and glass jewels/gold wire, nothing genuinely valuable. Yet). Her philosophy focuses heavily on the power of the imagination and so she likes to tease very subtly indeed, believing that the suggestions of one's own mind are far more powerful than what blatant revelation could provide.
She is committed to her work because she enjoys having a sense of power
over men. Ciarda grew up in an abusive home and finally turned to prostitution to help her dying mother, since the household's money went to Da's alcohol consumption. The first time was a little rough but as she started studying her role she figured out that she could use her body to control that which had always frightened her, and she immediately took advantage of that knowledge.
