Mother? what tis wrong? ye look upset.. This was what came from young sabela's mouth. Her tone soft and sweet, like that of a Irish brook one could compare it to. Gentle and polite with that slow ring that made her soft appearance seem to glow even more. She had wandered with her mother into the keep, leaving her eldest sister to tend for the time being. Her mother just looked to her with a smile as she spoke her voice much older then her's but soothing It tis nothing me dear...Just thoughts tis all Sabela nodded gently as she smiled nodding her head. It was one of the rare times she along with her mother managed to get away from the walls of the mansion house. Just to be around others was a cheer in itself, they both knew of the troubled times but tried to not think of such problems. That twas the mans duty after all right? the women staying at home and running the house while the men where off was she not correct? The young girl and her mother where dressed almost alike, somehow she didn't resemble her mother that much in her appearance.
With long waist length curly strawberry blonde hair, and deep enchanting blue eyes which were set in oval sockets with thick lash's. Wilst her mother, was darker complected then her daughters porcilian delicate features. She did have her mothers shape though, small and petit with gentle curves that were starting to come in. A envy to some of the girls her age, because they where hardly managing to get out of there straight forms. She knew that her mother was bringing her here, to just show her off in hopes of catching someones eye while they browsed the streets. Why did she have to dress her like some fairy tale, sprite in her opinion? with the tight corset that pushed her almost jokingly into place making her smaller then she already was. The sleeves that was long and belled with ruffles around the lower part, and deep square cut. The dress made of fine silver and gold material and embroidered with leaves of the fall in different colors. Her small hands gently brushing herself off as she walked, along side her mother whom was already looking at the different small shops and tents that lined the street.
now Sabela's eyes seemed to drift off into her own little world, into a daydream of sorts as she smiled gently. Her pink lips pulling into a smile as she started to hum a old gaelic tune her mother had sung to her as a child call suil a ruin. The merry tune coming from her as her mother kinda looked at her, it twasn't that loud. Her mother just smiled and shook her head before snapping her out of it darling pay attention or ye ju'st might get ye self bumped into ya's know? Her attention turning quickly to her mother as she smiled and nodded Ayi, mum Her eyes scanning the crowd that was bustling around for perhaps some people she knew or some people that looked interesting to talk with while her mother browsed.
Why was she even here? Oh, yes, to be safe. Or at least her mother thought so. Brianna and Enya had packed their belongings and traveled to Thiasa Keep "to be safe" while her brothers were off doing something with the military. That was just a lie though, and the funny part was that her mother has yet to realize that Enya knows it's a lie. The truth to why they were at Thiasa Keep was because King Aedan Kilgour was looking for a wife to marry and bring forth an heir and her mother wanted to give her an opportunity to try and woo him. It almost made Enya want to laugh. Like King Aedan would ever even take a second glance at her. She was only a knights daughter. No, she knew that King Aedan would rather seek to marry someone of more worth such as one of the lords of the fiefdom's daughters.
She just shook her head at that as they passed through Thiasa Keep's gate. She looked to her mother in thought for a moment. She seemed aged beyond her years for some reason. Enya never really knew why though. "Mother, I can not see why we couldn't just stay at Newbury Fiefdom." She tried to reason once again looking at her mother with questioning eyes. "I've told you once child. I feel safer here while your brothers are away." Enya just sighed, or at least tried to. It was rather hard with the thight fitting corset she wore under her lavender gown with black embroidery and lovely black lace lining the low V neckline. "Besides deary, maybe you shall catch the eyes of the young King." Enya just rolled her eyes while her mother wasn't paying attention. Once again she wanted to laugh with amusement. Not that she hadn't caught the eyes of many other suitors that she had turned away. She was a young woman of eighteen now and that meant that every curve of her body was filled out. She felt she surely didn't need the help of the restricting corset, but her mother made her wear it. Over the bbeautiful lavender gown was a red and white traveling cloak.
She looked about the market as they stopped and with the help of two gentelmen dismounted. Enya pushed away at the man and with a graceful ease got down on her own without any help. She looked about the market enjoying the sounds of activity before she pushed down the hood of her cloak. "Come darling." She heard her mother call, but she turned and just watched her for a moment. Her gaze traveled to the large castel before she looked back to her mother. "Actually, Mother, I was hoping to explore the market for a while. Perhaps buy myself some fabrics to make a new gown or something of the sort." She said softly looking to her mother. Brianna nodded her head and headed towards the castel. Enya just watched her for a while and then turned towards the shops and began her curiosity enduced exploration.
She had spotted the others that were coming in and out of the keep. Most of them being people who had family in the military. Whilst the others were confident in there places. Someone like her mother that was for sure, she had told her father and her children that they weren't going to leave the fiefdom for there life. It didn't matter how hard times got. Unless they were ordered off tehre land by the king that was. This was one of the many traits young sabela admired in her mother. That strong will, and deep devotion to her family and husbands land. It made the young girl smile sometimes to watch her mother. She knew all to well b why her mother brought her here. It wasn't to just catch the eye of anyone. It was to catch the eye of the king like any young woman that came here with her family.
The fact that in such troubled times they were pushing the poor king to marry and produce a heir. She knew it was abit odd, but she wasn't going to question she kept her opinions to herself. She by this time had managed to wander away from her mother whom was more or less browsing things over in the different shops. Hearing the wheels of a carriage and the hoofs of a horse, her head darted up out of her little day dream perking a brow. The style automatically put her in the mind of the Newbury's fiefdom. It wasn't uncommon knowledge that all the fiefdoms had a daughter they wanted to try and mary to the king. In her opinion the newbury's daughter would have a way better chance then her. She was older, and more filled out then the rest of the girls. Whilst young sabela was Only 15 and getting hers just in.
Spotting the woman and the younger lady as she stood outside a shop, having been looking in at the different materials and things inside. Turning at first she smiled gently before shaking her head. Turning to go back inside, since she figured the other didn't see her. she was the last of the heaton children and the only girl that wasn't married, besides what would another girl her age want to even speak or talk to a young lady as herself. Being much younger then her, she had many more competitors then young sabela. And many more that could give her a even better run for her money in her mind at least.
