Hi folks
Well the school decided to go ahead with the sports day, despite the amount of rain we had during the night, it started well, but we had a massive downpour on the 3rd activity, (the kids move around as a team and do 8 different things and accumulate points for doing them) The powers that be then decided we ought to go inside for a while 'til the rain stopped. Eventually we finished though they only got to do 7 of the 8 things. Usually there is a picnic in the vicarage garden at lunchtime, but as it was wet all kids with a grown up were allowed home, so i have had Nathan at home since just after 11.30!
Tomorrow there is a free sports activity day at one of the sports centres here, so i am going to take the boys over there so they can have a go. Both of them fancy laser clay pigeon shooting :o So i just might get a quiet couple of hours to myself tomorrow.
Hope you are having a good day, think i've got a headache after trying to sort out those 5-7 year olds, including one with very little English!
sounds like a bit of a nightmare Julia rather you than me z7shysterocal
