A marginal improvement over the TIE Fighter, the Interceptor is more maneuverable than anything save the A-Wing - it can fly circles around an X-Wing - and is faster than most other fighters. It still lacks the hyperdrive, but is a solid choice for those who have a larger hyperdrive-capable vessel to ferry them about. Like all Imperial vehicles, it has little room for simply modifications - any customization would have to be dedicated work at a shipyard.
