Lelouch Lamperouge - June 29, 2008 01:08 PM (GMT)
[XXI]
[II.] Celestia, Lightsworn Angel
[I..] Ehren, Lightsworn Monk
[II.] Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior
[III] Honest
[III] Judgment Dragon
[III] Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner
[II.] Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress
[III] Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
[II.] Wulf, Lightsworn Beast
[XVII]
[III] Card of Safe Return
[III] Charge of the Light Brigade

[I..] Monster Reborn
[II.] Monster Reincarnation
[I..] Mystical Space Typhoon
[I..] Premature Burial
[III] Solar Recharge
[IV.]
[II.] Beckoning Light

When suggesting fixes, try not to get the deck below 42 cards, since CoSR's extra draw power justifies the increased deck size IMO. Otherwise, fixes are most welcome ^^;.

I was never truly fond of Card of Safe Return used soley for Lumina (and sometimes for Glorious Illusion)
Besides, Beckoning Light is much more useful then Glorious Illusion in terms of win condition.

Beckoning Light doesn't work all that well for me. I've tried it, and I often found that it either gets discarded, or, when I managed to get Beckoning, I either didn't have the Judgment Dragons in the Grave or I only had one card left in hand. The other problem is the risk of having the Dragons D.D. Crowed while trying to set up an OTK via Beckoning. Besides, I found that 3 separate Judgment Dragon hits is much easier to pull off than trying to have multiple Judgment Dragons on the field at once (although it is still possible with Monster Reincarnation).
On the other hand, CoSR with 8 revival options (3 of which are re-usable) doesn't sound like a bad idea to me at all. It can be argued that Lightsworns don't need the extra speed, but the extra drawing power also ensures that fewer important cards get discarded. The CoSRs also stabilize the deck a little, and are less prone to being a bad draw than Beckoning Light.

Monster Reincarnation has the same problems Beckoning Light does however. It can be discarded as well as being topdecked with no other cards in hands.
If anything, Beckoning Light doesn't target, so is therefore better then Monster Reincarnation.
Lightsworn aren't really built for Swarming ala zombies with Lumina.
Then again, it's your deck, but I think Card Trooper would work well in the deck.

Beckoning Light is better than Monster Reincarnation just like how Return from the Different Dimension is better than Escape from the Different Dimension.

I see what you're getting at, but it's not an entirely valid comparison. Both RftDD and Escape don't have a discard cost attached to them, and can be activated pretty much whenever. In the case of Reincarnation vs. Beckoning however, Beckoning has a higher "cost" attached to activating it (3 cards in hand vs. 1). Also, in this build, I prefer the utility of Reincarnation, which also happen to be the only way to reuse Celestias and Rykos, over Beckoning Light, which should only ever be used to get Judgment Dragons.
However, I also believe in keeping my options open, so I'll try 2 Beckoning Lights over 2 RotA. I don't even know why I added RotA in the first place, considering Garos is its only valid target. :/ And I would much rather SS Garos than waste a Normal Summon on him.

Actually, Beckoning light has two major targets. If you chain it to an attack, you can bring back honests to your hand, and if their monster is big enough, drop multiple honests to finish it that turn.

Necro-bump with a new version of the deck. Actually, not much is different except for the inclusion of three of these:
TDGS-EN089
Charge of the Light Brigade
Normal Spell
Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard. Add 1 Level 4 or lower "Lightsworn" monster from your Deck to your hand.
This + Solar Recharge being run in 3s is just INSANE. @_@

Meh option is meh. This deck is very tight on space anyway :/.
