i'll say the same thing i said in the other topic.

i'd drop the entire monster lineup aside from Morphing Jar Spirit Reaper and Sangan. (and exodia of course. lol)
from there i'd recommend throwing in a full compliments of A Cat of Ill Omen Armageddon Knight and Dark Grepher. then you're gonna want to add in two copies of Mask of Darkness. that ought to bring your monster count up to ninteen.
for the spells you should drop everything except the Card Destruction the Swords of Revealing Light and the single Foolish Burial.
from there i recommend double copies of Reinforcements of the Army Allure of Darkness Burial from the Different Dimension and adding a second Foolish Burial. then top the spells off with a full compliment of dark factory of mass production. that'll round your spells out at a nice thirteen.
now for the most important part of the deck- the traps.
i'll start from scratch with the trap lineup.
you're going to want a copy of crush card virus which will be your favorite search target for A Cat of Ill Omen. from there you're gonna add in full compliments of Legacy of Yata Garasu and Reckless Greed. two copies of Backup Soldier and a copy of Gravity Bind should finish out the decklist.
deck should be faster and more efficient the way i built it. if you want me to fix the list to work more toward the exodius approach i'll be more than happy to do so. this is just what i thought would work best. |
no offense to your deck. this just doesn't seem like it would be as efficient as it would with the fixes provided. if this is an irl deck i still have to question the cyber phoenix..... that just really jumps out at me. other than that... well i don't know what kind of card pool you have so i can't provide fixes other than what i think would be best. sorry.

LOL out of all that you think the Oddest thing is Cyber Phoenix? lol alrighty it's simple: When it's destroyed by battle I can draw one card.
You are right........our card selection at the moment really sucks.......and we have to work with what we've got. Honestly, I still have to get the two arms of Exodia to complete it, so I've been using paper with the stats and stuff until i get them. But it's in the testing stage for now........and so far it's doing really well. I know we keep changing it up and stuff, but i think we finally got it to the standards we need it at. I plan on entering it into a regionals if i can get all the pieces i need by July 26

no cyber phoenix is just what jumps out at me most.
if you want to enter a regional with it i wish you the best of luck but i hope you don't get your hopes up. i don't want to sound offensive but even if it is testing to a certain standard i don't see it doing well enough to take a regional. still it'll be good fun i'm sure so best of luck.

Well, I look at it this way.........i've never done well in regionals with any deck i've ever used........so what have i got to lose? I've been trying to build a good Exodia Deck since i found out what Exodia was! The Glow Moss-Appropriate combo is one of the best draw ideas I could make with what I have. I couldn't believe I didn't think of it before! I tried to make most of the deck Draw Power so that i will draw extra cards on almost every turn. Every little bit helps! And when I noticed what I could do with that combo........I was blown away! I hope to see it in action against some of the best players.......and see the look on their faces when Neo Spacian Glow Moss show's his stuff!
Ryan Slade - June 22, 2008 04:36 AM (GMT)
Have you considered D-Hero Defender in place of Glow Moss?
Kaito Kishomo - June 22, 2008 04:39 AM (GMT)
Hmmmm.......I could do that too! Have them both! Wow! Thanks for that idea, Ryan! But i think i will still keep my Glow Moss.......who should I replace? Vortex Trooper maybe?
Ryan Slade - June 22, 2008 04:59 AM (GMT)
Dunno. My Exodia deck runs on Heart of the Underdog alone.
Kaito Kishomo - June 22, 2008 05:02 AM (GMT)
I used to do that too.......but it's too slow........too much of a chance that you won't get the Heart of the Underdog. You'd have to get it within your first two or three turns to really make a difference.
Oh yeah......I'm taking out the 2 Legacy of Yata Garasu and i'm putting in 1 Reckless Greed and 1 Disturbance Strategy
Also taking out Card Trader and putting in Cup of Ace
Taking out one Upstart Goblin for 1 D-Hero Defender
Haru Hizashi - June 22, 2008 06:03 AM (GMT)
Tech Disk Commander and Fear Monger in it? Maybe Destiny Draw. How about a perfect circle Exodia?
Kaito Kishomo - June 22, 2008 06:09 AM (GMT)
That would kinda be fun........problem is we don't have Disc Commander OR Destiny Draw. And no one wants to give them up.........so you see our predicament
Fubuki Tenjyoin - June 22, 2008 06:09 AM (GMT)
I've ran an Exodia deck, but unfortunately, I lost the list when I deleted it from YVD and lost it on another forum.
I never really got into the whole "rely on my opponent to draw thing." I can't think of much right now, but see bottom suggestion(s).
+3 Emissary of the Afterlife
+1 Card Trooper
+2 Upstart Goblin
+3 Toon Table of Contents
+1 Toon Cannon Soldier
+1-2 Dark Factory of Mass Production
+1 Monster Reincarnation
+3 Threatening Roar
+3 Thunder Dragon
+1-2 Pot of Avarice
+1 Crush Card Virus
+1 Gold Sarcophagus
In all honesty, I'd drop the Appropriate idea. Relying on a continuous trap in this format, or any for that matter is too risky. I wouldn't run Exidos either.
Kaito Kishomo - June 22, 2008 06:16 AM (GMT)
Out of Curiosity..........why Thunder Dragon?
Fubuki Tenjyoin - June 22, 2008 06:19 AM (GMT)
Thunder Dragon is a deck thinner. Discard 1 to add up to 2 of them (in your deck) to your hand.
