Your secret's safe with me. ^_^
Well some cards could be very important to this deck, you'll be almost completely dependent on stall to stop your opponent attacking your life points directly, so I'd suggest getting cards to search for this stallers, like say A Cat of Ill Omen since it can search out Gravity Bind and Wall of Revealing Light which like I said could be very important for your strategy.
Zetton Zanmaru - June 18, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
Umm, it's good if I get attacked directly?
Kuroshiro Lingshen - June 18, 2008 03:52 AM (GMT)
This deck can almost be considered dirty...
Anyways, I agree with Rose, that you should probably throw in a few A Cat of Ill Omens.
And of course, in this deck, it's good to get attacked directly, but not too much. If you get unlucky, then you might get killed.
Saidre - June 18, 2008 04:15 AM (GMT)
In that type of deck golems are bad. Use something else.
Zetton Zanmaru - June 18, 2008 04:38 AM (GMT)
No they are not. In fact, Lava Golem is my only hope when something like Spell Canceller comes out. But yeah, not much people run Spell Canceller anyways.
03 Messenger of Peace
03 Nightmare Steelcage
01 Swords of Revealing Light
01 Level Limit - Area B.
03 Magical Mallet (to draw into more stalls)
Tell me that that's not enough stall. And I refuse to run more monsters anyway, it decreases the probability of the success of Reversal Quiz.
Saidre - June 18, 2008 04:58 AM (GMT)
No. You don't want to burn your opponent since... well, you told me not to tell them. Maybe side it and use Grinders instead. They give you defenders(assuming they can't get under your stall), and still fill up their field.

i dont like lava golems they defeat the purpose
i dont like these either: Convulsion of Nature (these die and therefore screw u up a bit) Archfiend's Oath kinda dead draws id suggest going with card trader instead a little more reliable
try pigeon holing books of spell to look at the card on top of your deck and final countdown since it has a 2000 point cost and another win condition
ive played one of these decks before and it was good it just needed a little work
Zetton Zanmaru - June 23, 2008 02:39 PM (GMT)
I couldn't care less about my opponent's life points as long as mine are low enough for the One Turn Kill.
Convulsions confirm that I guess correctly with Reversal Quiz.
Final Countdown sucks in this deck. I usually win/lose before turn 10.
Other cards like Archfiend's Oath are filler.
maverick - June 23, 2008 04:42 PM (GMT)
then whats the purpose of lava golem then? why not put in cards that draw instead then like dekoichi or skelengal (and if they get nobleman of crossout then it thins ur deck making ur choice easier)
no the convulsions die from the quiz and so ur deck gets flipped again i suggest piegon holing books of spell as a better card for doing that
well no final countdown lowers your life even more (by 2000 to be exact and if reversal quiz fails u just get to stall for a little bit and u win anyway)
as for the fillers try cards that speed up your deck or stall like swords of concealing light or big eye or something of that nature
Zetton Zanmaru - June 23, 2008 11:58 PM (GMT)
Lava Golem is there to make my life points low enough without myself dying first. You didn't interpret what I said well enough.
Okay didn't know about Convulsions. - Convulsions + Pigeonholding Books of Spell.
You obviously haven't played the deck if you're suggesting Final Countdown.
Big Eye is worse than Lava Golem and I do not need any more monsters. I do not need any more stall. Didn't you read my post elaborating how I do not need any more stall? *sigh*, it's as if I'm being ignored.
maverick - June 24, 2008 12:28 AM (GMT)
lava golems burn the opponent not urself >_>
and there are other ways to lower ur life rather than letting the opponent hit u with 3000 (in case thats what u were thinking of)
i used it once and the countdowns i used just to lower my life and i played against one in a tourny which had them sided and brought them out in the 3rd round along with some wave motion cannons (i think he was trying to burn me to death rather than using quiz >_>) but he won the tourny that day
and as for big eye it was just an idea i was throwing out there im not a fan of it either >_>
but maybe just some more cards that speed things up so u can get the quiz out quicker like magical merchant or something like that basically just find ideas to get it quicker (yeah i saw sarcophogous but that takes a couple turns in which the opponent can kill u >_>)
oh and i didnt see the stall post but i dont really pay too much attention since my attention is being split by so many things at once nowadays >_>
Zetton Zanmaru - June 24, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
I'm fully aware of Lava Golem's effect. I'm not that ignorant.
maverick - June 24, 2008 02:45 AM (GMT)
ok...............nvm im not gonna say anything else

doesn't lava golem burn the controller meaning the opponent because you summon it to your oppoennts field
Zetton Zanmaru - June 24, 2008 12:15 PM (GMT)
Lava Golem lowers my Life Points by attacking obviously.
