Made a few minor alterations to the deck I used for my exam. I think that the fixes that I made should make it a tad faster, more aggressive, and should also help me to keep control of the game. I'm considering running a copy of Monster Reincarnation as well to return Phoenix to my hand. Thoughts and suggestions?

I'm sort of worried that you don't seem to have much offensive power outside of cyber twin dragon, I mean it's becoming increasingly easier to summon powerful monsters and well, 2400 might not be enough to really save the phoenix from battle and make the most of it's effect. Not only that but I'm not seeing many ways of bringing it back to your hand, I mean wouldn't something like A feather of a phoenix or monster reincarnation possibly be welcome here?
Sorry, that's just opinion, other than that I think it looks pretty good. ^_^

i did say that i was looking for room for a possible copy of reincarnation. there are plenty of ways to revive my phoenix as well as destroy cards too big for phoneix but i'm still aware of the threat. i don't really see much that i can take out though. what would you take out?

Maybe you could drop the Drastic Drop Off cards, I mean situational hand destruction sounds like a bit of a dead draw to me, especially when you're running Jinzo and the Phoenix. I can't help but suspect that your resources could be better spent.

err it's not situational. it can be activated in response to any drawing including the draw phase meaning it can be used on any turn it's really a good choice in this deck because it does something without having to worry about phoenix killing it.

Oh, sorry, I misread the test, my mistake, XD
Sorry.
What about Card Trooper, I mean it's a useful card and all but what happens if it accidently sends an important card to the grave, considering the lack to revival in this deck it could potentially damage you in the same way Drastic Drop Off could damage the opponent. That said when it's destroyed it doesn't cost hand advantage...
Yeesh this is hard, I'm almost wishing you'd made a shoddy deck so it would be easier to edit, :P

there's not much that i care to put in the graveyard because it works for overload later most of the time. even so i don't need to mill with trooper he's just another card i use to draw. besides there are no real "key" cards in the deck. the deck uses phoenix but can fall back on a chimeratech win.
regardless there are no cards i really care about putting in the grave. not even allure.
lol no worries. it's really no big deal. i tend to make decks that are air tight and really hard to fix. it's no big deal if you don't have a fix i don't mind.
