Title: Subtractables
Fubuki Tenjyoin - May 6, 2008 08:25 PM (GMT)
Technically not CAC's, but they're fun for the deck I want to use right now.
Monsters -

1x MILL-001 Level Jar (Rare)
Earth/Rock/4/500/500
FLIP: All monsters on the field are shuffled into their respective owner's Deck. After that, each player must draw a number of cards from their Deck equal to the total Levels of the monster(s) returned. If a player doesn't draw at least 1 of the monsters that were shuffled into their Deck, they must discard all cards they drew.
Spells -

3x MILL-003 Contingency Fee (Common)
Spell/Normal/Spell Speed 1
Effect: Your opponent must draw cards from his/her Deck until he/she holds 6 cards in his/her hand. Increase your Life Points by an amount equal to the total number of cards that your opponent drew by this effect x 1000.
Traps -

1x MILL-002 Monster Register (Super Rare)
Trap/Continuous/Spell Speed 2
Effect: Pay 1000 Life Points. While this card is face-up on the field, each time either player performs a successful Normal Summon or Special Summon, that player must send a number of cards from the top of his/her Deck to the Graveyard equal to the Level of the Summoned monster.

You probably could have gotten the pictures to look much better. >_>
The only problem with Level Jar that I see is that it would be almost impossible to tell if you drew one of the cards you shuffled, if you play cards in 3s.
For example, if I have 3 Masked Dragons in my deck, get one shuffled in, and draw a Masked Dragon, who's to say if it's that Masked Dragon or not?

That could be the beauty of it, if Fubuki-san made it a little less specific. That way, if you have extra copies of the card in your Deck, your more likely to draw that card than a card you might only have one of in your Deck.
Anyway, Level Jar looks very nice and professional, bu I agree with Allison on the other two. They really need to be fixed in the picture department. Other than that, they're quite nice. Kudos.

If anything, the card should be more specific.
"If a player doesn't draw at least 1 monster with the same name as one that was shuffled into their Deck,"
Something like that.

yes, that would probably be the best way to put it. That way, it doesn't specify the actual card, but isn't too broad at the same time. Thumbs up to Allison for finding a way to word it properly.

But what if your opponent manage to summon a whole bunch of high levels? Great miller but I think it may be a bit over powered...

It's a risk that punishes overextending...

Just to clear this up, these aren't mine, but are from Episode 72 of GX. And those were the only pictures I could find. How does this sound for the Level Jar?
FLIP: All monsters on the field are shuffled into their respective owner's Deck. After that, each player must draw a number of cards from their Deck equal to the total Levels of the monster(s) returned. If a player doesn't draw at least 1 of the monsters (or a copy of), they must discard all cards they drew.
Is that better?

As for the pictures, just... open up paint and make them look nice there. >_>
For it's effect, like I said before:
"FLIP: All monsters on the field are shuffled into their respective owner's Deck. After that, each player must draw a number of cards from their Deck equal to the total Levels of the monster(s) returned. If a player doesn't draw at least 1 monster with the same name as one that was shuffled into their Deck, they must discard all cards they drew."
The only problem with it would really be Harpy Lady... but who really runs Harpy Lady? And anyone who does only runs Harpy Lady 1 anyway.

Sounds perfect. When I get a chance, I'll change it.

Level Jar:
(Following the effect I wrote down for it several posts ago)
Rare: 5 Point
1st Edition: 5 Points
Earth: 15 Points
Rock: 4 Points
ATK + DEF = 600-1099: 12 Points
Effect: Hmm, it's just the thing to cut over extending, but leaving it unlimited pretty much creates a situation where Aggro can not exist. 20 Points. The card would be limited to one per deck.
Total: 61 Points
Contigency Fee:
Common: 1 Point
1st Edition: 5 Points
Normal Spell: 20 Points
Effect: Eh, perhaps in an odd mill deck. 3 Points.
Total: 29 Points
Monster Register:
Super Rare: 15 Points
1st Edition: 5 Points
Continuous Trap: 30 Points
Effect: Once again, I feel the card would be too overpowered, and would make mill decks overwhelming. It makes duels go by too quickly. I'd say, limited to one per deck. 20 Points.
Total: 70 Points.
