Title: Light of Destruction Sneak Peek

Ryan Slade - May 4, 2008 05:27 AM (GMT)
Who went, and how'd it go?

Personally, this pack sucked.

Kaj Xitrons - May 4, 2008 06:16 AM (GMT)
I went....

Pulled Wulf, some new Lightsworn Cyber Phoenix-ish guy, Ultimate Gear Golem, the GB fusion and Superancient Dinosaur thing.

Darth Panduh - May 4, 2008 01:16 PM (GMT)
Yugioh is horrible IRL. Online, where you dont have to be a doctor to get cards, is the only reason I play.

Also.

Lightlords = <3

Rou Rou - May 4, 2008 03:26 PM (GMT)
Was going to.

Went and played Basketball instead. Basketball is free, afterall. >_>

Allison Wonderland - May 4, 2008 04:14 PM (GMT)
I planned on going, in hopes of getting a complete Lightlord set...

Then I found out the rarities of the cards... I went over to a friend's house to play Brawl instead for 8 hours. >_>

... Man, Brawl is awesome with friends. ^_^

Ryan Slade - May 5, 2008 12:16 AM (GMT)
Meh, all I did was trade almost everything I pulled. Traded Judgment Dragon for 2 Cyberdark Impacts and Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare. Meh, no biggie. The added-in cards sucked.

Kaj Xitrons - May 5, 2008 12:42 AM (GMT)
No biggie, dude you got royally ripped off.

Srsly. I normally laugh at people who get ripped off, but that's so bad, I can't even bring myself to laugh. =O

... Oh dear...

urisoke - May 5, 2008 01:31 AM (GMT)
i know someone who pulled 3 judgements

Kaj Xitrons - May 5, 2008 01:38 AM (GMT)
I got 2nd today at Hobby League and won 4 LODT packs, pulled Vanquishing Light and Tualtin.

Kai Hiwatari - May 5, 2008 02:54 AM (GMT)
Yeah, you got ripped.

Judgement is like the DAD of this set.

Wish I could have went. I want batteries and lightlords.

Ryan Slade - May 5, 2008 03:07 AM (GMT)
JUDGMENT DRAGON IS NOTHING BUT TRADE BAIT.

Kaj Xitrons - May 5, 2008 04:54 AM (GMT)
Ok, let's say that Judgment Dragon is just trade bait, it's still like 250 dollar trade bait.

Rou Rou - May 5, 2008 03:54 PM (GMT)
Bad player is bad. =/

Fubuki Tenjyoin - May 5, 2008 07:17 PM (GMT)
OMG Cup of Ace is finally out!

400th post too! Does it get any better than this?

500th?

Fubuki Tenjyoin - May 5, 2008 09:01 PM (GMT)
400th. Too bad I missed it.

Rou Rou - May 5, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
No, no. You asked:

I was asking if the 500th was better. >_>

Fubuki Tenjyoin - May 5, 2008 09:56 PM (GMT)
My mistake. Any other millish cards in this set?

Millish? Uhh... I think I heard something about "lightsworn". They might be able to mill, or so I've heard.

Madness Antithesis - May 5, 2008 11:49 PM (GMT)
If I weren't so lazy and cheap, I'd be tempted to get my hands on Cup of Ace, Tour of Doom, THE FOOL, and THE CHARIOT in triplicate and make people cry as I do horrible things to them with coin flips. XD

Kazuo Tetsuya - May 6, 2008 03:34 PM (GMT)
The lightsworn cards mill your own deck but I have heard they are pretty good cards even though of that. The lightsworn will come with the powerful Judgment Dragon.

Still, I am looking forward for the arcana cards. And I heard Dangerous Machine Type 6 will finally come out in this set.

Kaj Xitrons - May 6, 2008 05:02 PM (GMT)
Kazuo, it did.

... Why would milling your deck be bad? When has milling your own deck ever been bad?

Lightsword/lightlords are already an amazing theme though. They have their own
Breaker-esque card, a Destiny Draw-type card, a Monarch-type card, a Zombie Master-type card, and a Demise-type card. (as in, the effects are similar.)

For once, it's awesome to play a theme... and then Konami had to ruin it, by making all the decent ones Super and Ultra Rare. >_>

Kazuo Tetsuya - May 6, 2008 07:20 PM (GMT)
Milling = Losing for not being able to draw. The cards are sent from your deck to your graveyard. Any spell or trap are lost unless you have cards to recover them. I heard the deck works pretty fast making the milling almost unnoticeable. Still, I think you need to be careful when playing them.

By the way, milling by discarding from the top of the deck is different to drawing (by special means) to reduce your deck.

Yes, I agree they are a great theme. Big variety and lots of support. To me, they are a like sword of two edges.

Learn to play.

Kaj Xitrons - May 6, 2008 07:33 PM (GMT)
Milling is actually one of their strengths, it adds ridiculous speed to the deck.

How can milling add speed to the Deck? Wouldn't you be discarding all your good cards?

Kaj Xitrons - May 7, 2008 05:15 AM (GMT)
The have recursion and unless they mill all of their recursion, they're fine.

Learn to be nice to someone who doesn't enter regionals normally or look into the metagame terms?

maverick - May 28, 2008 10:03 PM (GMT)
this is pretty basic stuff i know it and dont go to regionals (too poor and my parents are overprotective >_>)

Fubuki Tenjyoin - May 29, 2008 03:38 AM (GMT)
I was talking about milling the opponent's deck. That's my favorite way to win a duel.
