I made this tutorial a while ago... it makes a sort of whirpool kind of effect - well thats what i got... try it for urself! :P
I'm not sure if its in there, but if you use the Filter>Sketch>Chrome and then colour balance to red, you can get a really cool blood look... same with water; just change the colour balance colour...

Its pretty easy to make after u have done the first steps... Just use the Filter>Sketch>Chrome and then colour balance to red. Simpl, yet cool lookin... I might have to use it for something...
