What sort of books do you read?

I personally love historical romance although saying that if I feel like reading I will read anything I can get my hands on.

David Gemmell ,Margaret weis and Tracey Hickman fantasy but with an edge ,David Gemmell my all time fave , he did my all time favourite character Druss hence the forum name

I read anything that takes my fancy to be honest, I even read horror even though I can't watch it!

I finished reading the David Pelzer books a couple of weeks ago and after such heavy stuff I needed something a bit more lighthearted so I bought myself a copy of The Bad Mother's Handbook by Kate Long.

I quite like Cecelia Ahern. P.S. I Love You is a great book which apparently they're turning into a movie! I've just finished reading Where Rainbows End.

Erm.....my course materials! :blink: But I have read ALL of Diana Gabaldons books, Anita Shreve's, Tess Gerritson.....great medical thriller writer, and of course Phillip Pulman's Dark Materials

I love Jodi Picolts stuff, but will read just about anything. I enjoy true stories as well as fiction funny romantic such as Jill Mansell and thrillers like Tess Gerristen, Ian Rankin and Val Mcdermid!!

I just love reading, puts you in another life and when I'm hucked I can't put it down!! :cool:

i love books there my one and only vice i have hundreds of them at home ,but sadly my most fave author of all time died last week David Gemmell he was a fantastic author i have read every last one of his books he will be sadly missed :cry:

i love reading,feel like im somewhere else,i like romantic books,get them from my charity shop for 10p,i dropped my currant one in bath last night so its now drying in airing cupboard :cry:

My forum name is exactly that, my all time most fave character ,from the Drenai series of books David Gemmell wrote ,and yes he did write the Jeruselem man books (John shannow) the David Gemmell book called ' Legend' i have read it 5 times to date it never gets boring and always makes me cry

My husband wanted me to read it, I thought OMG its so thick (All three books about John Shannow) But I absolutely loved it and felt I couldn't put it down :D

Hi everyone Im reading about 4 books at the moment one of them is Temple Grandin's Thinking in Pictures very good read! Interesting her obbsession is cattle shutes that she has designed to treat the cows more humanly.
