Title: Help needed

Minxy - December 20, 2006 10:16 PM (GMT)
Please read this link and if you can will you help UNIQUE (Rare Chromosome Support Group). This is an organisation that has helped us a great deal with info about Olivia's condition. Forward it to friends too. UNIQUE are one of ten finalists but definately the lesser known of them all so need all the support they can get.
Thanks in advance,

Pam(Madasafish)

A big BIG thank you to all of you who collected and sent in the cheques to vote for Unique to be chosen as one of the finalists in the Daily Mail/ Royal Bank of Scotland charity giveaway.

The good news is that we have been shortlisted as one of the 10 finalists, we will definitely get £10,000 but we need your help and the help of all of your family, friends and colleagues to vote for us as many times as possible. Of the 10 finalists, the one who polls the most votes wins the top prize of £100,000.

Please, please, please vote for us this Christmas, we have some stiff competition and need all the votes we can get!

Thank you for adding the link.
Without this organisation I would still be in the dark about our daughters rare chromosome disorder. They have not only helped me but they have helped our daughters siblings and immediate family understand more about her condition. We have also been put in contact with other families who have children with the same disorder, which has helped us tremendously. These people spend many hours giving families like us lots of support, when many of them also have children with rare chromosome disorders themselves. Although all the organisations are worthy to be in the line up for many reasons, I feel that they already have lots of publicity and funding and UNIQUE is very much the lesser known. I wish them all good luck in their quest but a 'special' good luck to UNIQUE.
Best wishes,
Pamela Taylor...Mummy to Olivia aged 12 with IDIC15 ( a rare chromosome disorder)
