I read about this in the paper the other day. I don't really visit Alton Towers so it's not going to affect me but even so it does concern me. As things stand there is a lot of tension surrounding Muslims at the moment, doesn't something like this stir things up even more?

Apparently a couple are getting married at Alton Towers and have booked the park for themselves and 70 of their guests on the same day as the Muslim event. They have been told by the park that they are still welcome but must all follow Muslim law, this includes, no smoking, no drinking, no music, women must have their heads covered and members of the opposite sex aren't allowed on the rides together! If this was my wedding party I'd be absolutely furious to be honest and you know I really think that the park is asking for trouble!

This is England and that is RACIST to say WE have to abide by their Laws in OUR country. Had it been the other way round, all hell would have been let loose. After all, imagine an ENGLISH ONLY DAY????????????

Steve told me about this, can't say I was that bothered about it but I would have been if it was my wedding that's for sure.
