Title: Both 8x8 and 16x16 in Scenario 3
Description: An uneducated idea

Not knowing anything about GBA hardware and DragonBASIC limitations..

Could you upscale the 8x8 font and then use a mask to touch up the result?

In other words:

1. Use the data from the 8x8 font and scale it to 16x16
2. Use a mask of "touch-up" pixels for each scaled letter
3. Display result

That way you could have both fonts and save some space, but, I'm probably missing something :)

Good Evening, MoonGoon:

* By hardware, you cannot scale tiles (at least I don't know how to do it).
You can scale sprites but it's a very lossy effect.

I have included both fonts now. By removing the 8x8 lowercase letters and limiting the large letters, the template for the 1024 (hardware limit!) for GBA is as follows:

The blank area up there is where I removed the talk-bubbles and plan to put other images for user posted image as required.

Since space is so tight, these really aren't desireable. I may make a single bubble where you can insert a single 8x8 char. later, but probably not.

Hope This Helps !
