The pictures of these dogs speak for themselves. I think racing, like lure-coursing, falls under a different sort of effort and set of instincts that actual hunting does, but still, it is interesting to see how the old type of Afghan has been preserved in dogs bred purely for performance.

If I could find afghans like those, :rolleyes: they have just that bit more substance than the average Saluki.
