Just to add, I'm sure that this is the import from The "Flushing" Hares in Lincolnshire post by Smoothy.

Same litter i think, thrown some stunning pups! :) Paul will be putting his smooth tepe gawra dog "Blade" over her soon, cant wait!

Are you going to take a pup? :)

Its a cracking looking bitch. I would'nt mind a dog of that type to cover Ameerah in a few years.

Definatly, not decided on dog or bitch? I like bitches, but the last full saluki i had was a dog and he was brilliant! A dog of this breeding to ur bitch would be an excellent line though.A lad in Manchester had a bitch "star" pedigree saluki same way bred as your bitch, the BEST saluki i have ever seen, could kill 4/5s in the dead of winter, loads of pace,he put it back to an unregistered smooth dog.
The dog"bert" was7/8th saluki out of "decon"(pure) back to 3/4 bitch,(a saluki bred best to best for english conditions in my book. What difference an out-cross to a greyhound 5 generations or so back makes i dont know?)
Anyway bert was a "stayer" with a big heart but a bit shy of pace, but the pups out of him and star were truley outstanding! There were smooth and feathered in the same litter and my coursing partner has a feathered dog out of the litter.Well ive run dogs for over 25yrs and ive not seen its equal ;) Pauls dog is a very similar dog to bert, strong, stay for ever but a tad sort of pace,i dont need to tell u that ur bitch has pace,i know the breed

Hi Saluqi, Lovely looking Salukis, I love the amount of bone these dogs carry, maybe it is just with them being smoothes it's just more obvious. I take it that it is an entirely smooth line?

How does your JJ compare to Pauls Blade, type, temperament, running style etc?

They are a cracking pair of Salukis, are they Saudi descent?

Compact and short coupled very nice. How have they been injury wise, are they still pretty sound?

saluqi - March 15, 2007 11:03 AM (GMT)
the old( over ten) one, on the right still gets run, will run on any type of land that would finish most sight-hounds. Only got injury the odd time from wire and flint , His son is the same.
joe is bred off a Tepe Gawra bred dog to a imported bitch from the desert.

Ahh B) see this is why I keep Saluki's now, I hate it when dogs get lamed. Where are all the litter mates, do you ever hear anything about the others are getting on?

Good to hear you Joe is doing so well into the double figures, something we all hope for.
