Description: National Geographic

There is a very interesting article in National Geographic, November, 2007, p. 112.
I urge everyone read it and bring it to attention of politicians, flirting with animal rightist groups. A very good popular educational material.

I'll have a look at it, thanks for letting us know about it on here.

The problem we have here is that most of our politicians are acting on there own feelings rather than those of their constituents whom they were elected by in the first instance.

I watched a tv programme where there were and group of men hunting rats with terriers in farm yards and providing the farmer with a real service killing rats which can be totally poison resistant. When the TV presenters back in the studio were discussing it they all thought it was terrible and that other methods should be used, they were appalled by the fact that the men were enjoying hunting the rats!!!

This is what we are up against constantly.

Here is a link to the article. Very good article, actually.

That thing with the rats sounds like what happened in California when some news idiot decided that open field coursing is a blood sport and should be abolished.

Here is another source of information for battles in a court. Some lawyers need a hard science support that animals are not just slaves or exploited subjects. We can fight AR on their own turf now:
