As Speedy took his morning constitution (wild running in circles around the room) he looked up to see me looking at him. This momentary distraction to the route caused him to mis-step and teeter over to one side.(that darn wacky foot of his) He jumped up with embarrassment and started cleaning himself with great attentiveness. (I meant to do that mom), Then he stared back at me until I turned away...and he's off again! It reminded me of when he was younger and would run around our old apt and slide accross the kitchen floor and into the cabinet. It was like a cartoon...I could practically see the stars going around his head!

He also still plans his route before he runs by chinning the objects on the outside of it. He seems to pick up so much speed that if a human accidentaly walks into his path he can't adjust fast enough and slams into their legs! :lol: Of course...then it is another very attentive grooming session... :rolleyes:

Hours of entertainment man! :lol:

Very funny and amazing too,

My thai rabbits usually do the similar things during early morning, and they are jumping in and out from his toy basket, up and down from my bed, very active and look super happy!!! It seems like their invitation to us to play with them. but i am too lazy to get up and play (around 5-7 am), I juz enjoy watching them being happy..

Hi Blue ,
when i read about Speedy sliding across the floor it reminded me of a Rabbit i once had named Wabbit ( very original ) . Her litter tray was one of those plastic triangular , high backed ones and we have varnished floor boards and Wabbit always left it 'til the last moment to use her tray . So we would hear a wild scrabble and then she would leap into her tray which would shoot across the floor and under the tv' like a bob sleigh with Wabbit on board . Rabbits are born comics , aren't they ?
