About 2 weeks ago I picked up two bunnies from another breeder close to my home. One was a little sable point doe we named Lola. The breeder's hubby has been sick and in the hospital a lot so these bunnies havent had much socialization. The other one was a little chestnut, Cheyenne. Both were scared to death of us. Cheyenne would thump and run for dear life if anyone opened her cage and Lola flattened completely out. As if to say, "If I get completely flat and still maybe they wont see me.
I've been working with them a lot and I'm happy to report that theyve both mellowed out and started to come around. The good news is...Lola isnt scared of people anymore. The bad news is...she thinks she's a people.

This is how she sits in her cage 90% of the time. I find her like this everytime I go out to the barn. I thought it was so funny that I brought my cam out there and decided if she was sitting like that I'd get a shot. LOL Sure enough....there she sat.
I sent the pic to the breeder and asked her if Lola's mom did it too. She said no but she has another doe in a different barn that does. She also said Lola's sister does it.
