I hate to be that guy. I really do. But honesty is my downfall. Very unimpressed with the first two matches. They seemed disorganized, they had no flow and way, way too short even for a beginning fed standard. Main event was about the quality I was expecting around here.
Now I don't expect the 42 page main event like I wrote at BPW. But I help run another fed that isn't quite "High Standards" and here is about what I would expect from a standard match.

Sierra Aspen: Ladies and gentlemen the following is the Number 1 Contendership match for the Untied States Championship. The rules are as follows, it is a Fatal Fourway Match. Meaning the first man to secure a pinfall or submission will be the Number 1 Contender for the United States Title! Introducing first from the land of the Rising Sun, he is the Japanese masked legend, he is Black Dragon!
( The opening riff to 4 Words starts. Black Dragon walks out staring at the ground. Once the opening scream hits pyro's shoot out and Dragon tilts his head back and screams. Dragon proceeds to the ring. He jumps inside and bounces off the ropes warming up.)Sierra Aspen: Now introducing the second competitor weighing in at 235 pounds! He hails from Long Island, New York! He is one half of the GWW Tag Team Champions, he is Carson Rayne!
(Strong guitar strings thunder throughout the arena as Carson Rayne steps through the entranceway wearing snow white tights. On the left side the initials CR are seen in midnight black lettering. On the right side the words “The Real Deal” are seen. He gets fired up on the stage and suddenly opens his arms out to the sky as he leans his head back. Rain begins to pour down around him before finally cutting off. Carson shakes the little that landed on him off and rushes down to the ring as his theme music rings through the arena, “I clench my teeth and realize my world is so near it's demise. A dying sun in a poisonous sky stinging my eyes. Burning with contempt and conflict. As of now I am a tool of severe impact. I clench my fist and visualize the blood that is spilled is our own. I open wide my bloodshot eyes and count the dead. A result of dysfunction!”) Sierra Aspen: Opponent number three hails from Newport, Maine. He weighs in at 240 pounds! He is Josh Reed!
(Three large explosions are heard with the final one showering the ramp way with gold sparks. Josh Reed steps out from the curtain smirking out at the crowd. He makes his way down to the ring, climbing the ring steps up and ducking under the top rope. He walks to the far turnbuckle and smiles out at the crowd before hopping down and awaiting his opponent. “Don't tread the water, just stay still; I'll not be bothered by you until; I'm picking sides and pulling the strings; I'm living lies and shedding the skin; I'm open wide; and letting you in; I'm wronging rights; Believe”)Sierra Aspen: And the last man to enter. He weighs in at 260 pounds. He is CJ Osborne!
(The lights go out as Billionaire Playboy” by Nelly come over the P.A. system. White sparkler fireworks are falling down from the bottom of the Global-Tron on to the stage. A spotlight shines on the stage entrance as a red carpet comes rolling out from nowhere, and CJ Osborne walks out with two very lovely ladies on his arms. CJ flicks his arms and two ladies go backstage. The light slowly comes back on once CJ gets in the ring.)White: This should be interesting to watch here. Remember that Carson has a bone to pick with Reed and Dragon. And Dragon and Reed beat the hell out of each last Assault.
Perrin: Plus Dragon, Reed and Osborne teamed together at the Global Survival to form the TNA Original Team! So many factors to include here Bobby, not to mention the fact that Carson has already won gold here tonight!
White: Well this thing is going to be combustible. I wouldn’t look for too much teamwork here though. It’s everyman for themselves.
(Each man removes their excess gear and Carson hands the ref his championship belt. They each go to a corner and stare at their other three opponents. The bell rings and each man looks like a caged tiger ready to pounce. No one moves as they all await the other to make the first move. Finally Carson suddenly darts to his left and Josh Reed can only brace himself as Carson hits Reed with such a powerful clothesline that it takes both men to the outside. Reed and Rayne stand up together as Black Dragon hits the far side ropes. Dragon rushes towards the ropes near Rayne and Reed to fly to the outside. NO! Osborne grabs Dragon’s leg mid-springboard and sends Dragon hard into the mat. Meanwhile Reed and Rayne begin to hammer one another back and forth. Finally Rayne gets the upper hand and he Irish Whips Reed back first into the steel steps. Reed’s body makes a loud crashing noise as his back collides with the stairs, still soaked with Dance Fever’s blood. Carson gets onto the apron to re-enter the ring but CJ leaps up executing a perfect Dropkick that sends Carson back out to the floor.)
Perrin: Look at this Osborne. He has taken advantage of every possible situation so far.
White: This is only our second time seeing this young man, I can’t say I am fond of his attitude but let’s see what he does in the ring.
(Alone with the Black Dragon, CJ lifts the masked man to his feet. CJ begins to lay in some seriously heavy Knife Edge chops into Dragon’s chest. CJ continues to pound away on the Dragon with a couple of crisp shots and then CJ slams Dragon’s head ferociously into the turnbuckle. CJ pulls Dragon away from the corner and in the middle of the ropes. CJ whips Dragon across the ring and looks for a Clothesline. NO! Dragon ducks underneath and continues to rush across the ring. Dragon flies though the middle and top ropes to catch Carson Rayne with a Suicide Dive. Both men lay in pain out on the floor as CJ looks on from inside. CJ rolls to the floor and looks around at all three men. Reed seems to be the closest one to CJ so he tosses the self help guru back into the ring. CJ gets onto the apron when suddenly Dragon springs into action again. Dragon uses the mat edge to Springboard off into the air. Dragon twists his body while clutching CJ’s sides and takes him off with a modified, Sunset Flip/Power Bomb type move. The crowd gives a rousing “Dragon, Dragon” chant in appreciation of the crazy move. Dragon stands up and holds his arm up to soak in the cheers when Reed drives his feet to the back of Dragon’s skull with a Baseball Slide. Carson Rayne is making his way up into the ring when Reed starts to hammer away to the back of Rayne’s skull. Reed pulls Carson up with each man on opposite ends of the ropes as Reed tries to Suplex Carson back into the ring. NO! Carson reverses the Suplex sending Reed to the outside! Reed’s body crashes into CJ and Black Dragon as they get to their feet!)
White: My God! This is insane! I can barely keep up with this action!
Perrin: This guys are flying around more than JFK on Christmas Eve.
(Carson Rayne looks down as the other three men try to get up on their feet. Carson Rayne looks around to the crowd and decides he wants to fly as well. Carson climbs up to the turnbuckle and aims his body towards the three men. Carson flies off the top of the corner looking for a Crossbody. NO! All three men step back out of the way and Carson crashes and burns onto the floor. The three men look down at Carson and then back up at one another. The moment lasts only seconds as Reed, CJ and Black Dragon all start pounding on each other. Dragon escapes the crowd to leap up onto the guard railing. CJ and Reed don’t allow Dragon to fly as both Reed and CJ stop fighting to shove Dragon off the railing and into the crowd. This truce doesn’t last as Reed slams CJ’s face into the guard railing. Reed follows up by clothesling CJ to the floor. Reed leaves Dragon and CJ to toss Carson back into the ring. Reed rolls back in and delivers a quick NeckBreaker. One…Two…Thre….Carson Grabs the Ropes)
Perrin: Reed is proving what a genius he is! He is taking advantage of the match with CJ and that Dragon guy down.
White: Well I honestly have no clue how this thing is going to end up.
(Reed brings Carson to his feet and delivers a Snap Suplex to Carson. Reed bounces off the ropes and then drives his knee into Carson’s face. NO! Carson rolls out of the way and gets to his feet. Reed raises his head while getting to his knees. Carson delivers a Dropkick that connects right into Reed’s face. Meanwhile on the outside Black Dragon is slowly dragging his body across the guard railing. CJ is also back to his feet and he looks up into the ring. The ref has his back turned to CJ and Dragon while paying attention to Reed and Carson. CJ uses the ref’s inattention to pull out a steel chair from underneath the ring. Dragon is about makes it about halfway across the guard rail when CJ slams the steel chair into Dragon’s skull. CJ tosses the chair aside and arrogantly pushes Dragon back onto the crowd’s side of the barrier. Back in the ring Carson is hammering away at Reed with European Uppercuts. Carson grabs the back of Reed’s neck and goes for a Lungblower! NO! Reed uses his wits again and holds onto the top rope preventing Carson from driving Reed down onto his knees. Carson gets up only to get scooped up by Reed right into the FAILURE HURTS! Reed gets ready to cover Carson when suddenly the Global-Tron flickers on. Reed gets to his feet and rests against the ropes to watch on. Jonathan Spades is on the screen and he seems to be highly angry.)
Spades: So tonight I got robbed of becoming the US Champion. Robbed. Drake will have to pay for his actions soon enough but that’s not what this is all about. Josh Reed you walk into those doors boy with your little punk ass books and suddenly you think you’re a player around here? The Faces of Fear run the show around here and someone needs to teach you some respect. You think I would allow a punk like you to take my spot? To go face Drake for the US Title? Nah boy. You and I got some unfinished business from Global Survival. I think it’s time you nobodies got a message.
(Reed is getting upset in the ring as Spades turns around on the Global-Tron. We can now see stacks of Reed’s Self Help Book. Spades flicks a match and tosses it onto the stack igniting the pages. The flames rise high as Reed screams out in rage. Reed exits the ring and goes running towards the back area.)White: What the hell is going on? We have a damn match going on!
Perrin: I thought Reed was the smartest guy in this thing but he just let himself get played. He left a #1 Contenders match! What’s wrong with these kids today?
(CJ hammers Carson from behind bringing the match back into action. CJ continues to stomp away at Carson on the mat until Dragon suddenly flies into the ring with a Spinning Back Kick. Dragon looks down at the fallen CJ and scales the top turnbuckle again. Dragon leaps backwards in an almost flowing motion with the WING PING PONG! NO! CJ rolls out of the way as Dragon crashes and burns. Carson pounces from behind locking on a Cobra Clutch. Carson falls forward driving Dragon down to the mat with the RAYNEMAKER! Carson covers. One….Two…CJ grabs Carson and slides him out of the ring. CJ lifts Dragon to his feet and spikes him down to the mat with the CASH-OUT! One…Two…Three!)
Sierra Aspen: Here is your winner and the number one contender for the United States Championship, CJ Osborne!
