Hypnotic Animation:
1.Make a new document. (300x300) Fill the Background with Black.
2.Now take a brush (a circular brush is recommended) with about a 15 brush radius. And paint a few lines on the canvas.

3.Now go to “Filter > Distort > Wave” and use the default settings. Press “Ctrl+F” until you have something that looks like this:

4.Now draw a few more lines

5.Now, once again, continue Pressing “Ctrl+F” until you get something like this:

6.Now once again, draw a few more lines, and press “Ctrl+F” until you have something like this:

7.Now, duplicate that layer (Layer > Duplicate Layer) and Press “Ctrl+F” Once:
8.Now duplicate that layer, and press “Ctrl+F” once
9.Continue this process 7 more times. By the end, you should have 10 Layers.
10.Now, turn off the visibility of the top 9 layers, leaving only the bottom layer visible.

Now, click the “Edit In ImageReady Button” (It’s the button at the very bottom of your tools bar)
11.Once in ImageReady create 9 new frames in your Animation Box (If its not showing, go “Window > Animation”)

12.This is where the animating comes in. Basically for each frame, we are going to make one more layer visible. So, for Frame 2 of our animation, we are going to want to make Layer 2 (and ONLY layer 2 visible). For Frame 3, Layer 3. ect ect.
After you are done, press play, and you should have this!

Be sure to save it as a .gif to do so, go “File > Save Optimized As” that way it retains its animation! There’s many variations to this technique, I recommend trying it with color, and trying it with a blueish chrome making a watery substance.
