Glass Sphere: Tutorial
New Document (500x500)
1. "Filter > Render > Clouds"
2. "Filter > Render > Difference Clouds" Then Press "Ctrl+F" to repeat the effect.
3. Press "Ctrl+B" to bring up Color Balance. And Use These Settings.
For Shadows:
Blue: 100
For Midtones:
Red: 100
Yellow: 100
For Highlights:
Yellow: 100

4. Now go, "Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates" (Rectangular to Polar)
5. Now Select The Sphere from the canvas by using the "Eliptical Marquee Tool"

6.Once you have the Sphere part of your canvas selected, right+click inside the selection. And choose "Layer via Copy"

7. Now Take the copied Sphere Layer, and add a shine to it. If you dont know how to add shine to something, follow the tutorial on this page
[Click Here] 8. Once you have the shine done, go to the Layer Styles of that layer, and use these settings:
Inner Shadow:

Outer Glow:

Inner Glow:

Gradient Overlay:

Stroke:

And Your Finished Result Should look something like this:
