Title: BOYCOTT NEKOCON
m0k - October 25, 2006 07:29 AM (GMT)
This is a notice to all anime fans and convention-goers in North America to boycott Nekocon. This annual fan convention exhibited cruel and vindictive behavior towards us and our clients at their 2005 con. They deliberately robbed us of our spot that we had paid in advance for, and then insisted on us supplying them with even more money once we got to the convention in order for us to do any kind of business at all. They then limited our space and operations, and made the situation even more difficult by not providing any kind of assistance at all during the convention. They've repeatedly refused to provide us with any kind of compensation or apology for their gross and abusive behavior toward us. We therefore ask all otaku to take notice of their outlandishly bad attitude on all otaku, and there supreme misuse of authority by boycotting their convention for this year and all future dates to come. Thank you.

When a couple of guys said were up in no good, started making trouble in my neighbourhood I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said youre moving with your aunte and uncle in bel-air.

Even with your table foreited, you were offered a dealers room table.
They also allowed you to put the deposite for AA torwards the Dealers table.
You viewed the location, and everything.
You were offered a discounted rate in the dealers room.
They said you broke convention rules, you say you didn't.
Even at that, you did view the table location, and you did agree to the terms in the dealers room, as well as the cost for it.
My dear, once you agree to something, there is no going back. I am sorry to say this to you here, but they do not owe any money to you, due to you agreeing to pay it.
I am not taking sides, but how it stands now, it looks to me, you are in the wrong here.
Please provide more information reguarding this, and your side, so that I can truely know what happened, instead of just assuming things.
Oh, and thank you Chris, for posting that link.
^^ you and editing posts. True I noticed I had listed the wrong name and that would be why I came back to edit it, but it was already done. Thanks..lol.

I thought we took care of this person in the Sugoi Con's forums v.v;;; Why is he making an ass out of his self on every con forum now?

| This is a notice to all anime fans and convention-goers in North America to boycott Nekocon. This annual fan convention exhibited perfectly logical behavior towards us for violating previously agreed upon arangement as well out inability to cooperate with the con's rules and such. We dliberately screwed ourselves over by not taking the compromise deal by being rather inflexiable, vindicative llamas set out to force everyone to bendover and takes it. We also have no expection of them reimbursing us because quite frankly, we were assholes and deserved whatever treatment we got. |
~fixed~

Don't unecessarily bump posts from months ago please. There is no reason for further discussion in this one. Likewise, there is no need to respond to this post.
