Figured i'd come to a good source of information and see if anyone knew of any places around the area that were looking for staff? I'm hunting for something retail/customer service in nature, something at a game store is a dream, but doubtful.

Overall just looking for a good lead on a place to apply.

Tons of retail places are now hiring for seasonal help over Christmas. I myself picked up a bunch of apps at Easton today.

I can't find anything in Lexington-- elitist, homosocial reproduction hiring tactics are putting me down. Plus, everwhere I go they think I'm some punk, snot-nosed kid that just turned sixteen who'll probably need heavy supervision. When I talk about my class schedules they get all wide-eyed and say "Oh, so you're in college? I thought you were sixteen!"

But over Christmas break I'll be back to working my shit job at various clinics punching in numbers, filing, copying, going to the crack-den warehouse for chart inventory or location... Pulling all the damn weight and getting ridiculously low wages for it. While everyone else is getting paid $24 an hour for just sitting around licking mayonaise from jars...
