Does anyone know if there are any cool games slated to be released right before our con? It would be cool if there was one (especially if it was like... twilight princess or something) so that we could set up a public speed-run of it right after it came out.

Well, Twilight Princess comes out Nov. 19th, with the Wii, and the Cube version, Dec. 11th. All in 2006.

Then there's FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus, too. I've only kept up with those so far. I'll get back to ya!

Uhh, Dirge of Cerberus is already out. And the con is at the end of March...games that come out close to the con...like a week or so beforehand.

I don't know any of those, thought ya meant whatever. Sorry. You can always look on Gamestop's website or something.

I checked and there a quite a few. Ya got the new Mortal Combat for the Wii, Half-Life 2 for the other two systems; they just sound interesting to me. I don't have any other ideas yet, though. (sad, cuz I'm obsessed with video games... just been too busy). I know of some older ones though, that people might wanna play.

Yeah.. I dont keep up with this stuff, I just get the thngs I like when they come out, rather then actually finding when they'll be out months beforehand. xD

On a side note, I think we need MULTIPLE rooms for DDR next year. That room was crowded. xD

Anyhow, we have limited space and a lot to do. We already gave DDR its own room, I can't imagine dedicating two of our precious rooms to it! We've already effectively cut tabletop gamings space to nothing!

Ack, thanks. I didn't mean that I WAS there. Take deep breaths. I just MEANT that I happen to be obsessed with the stuff and I won't be staying at the hotel. So if the rooms are open, my mom and I will be staying all night anyway. I'll just play the games there all night. And take up space. Besides, I have a medical condition that permits me no sleep at night. So there, that's what I MEANT. Didn't think you'd want the huge explaination. I DID go to a hotel when I was a KID, and there was a con there. It was crowded. So I DO know it can happen. I just took the comment of Vincent as being truthful. So just forget it.

are we going to need any xbox 360's at all? I'm taking Chris and he has three ..>>, so yeah, if you want I'll see if he can bring them.

It's a little soon to get into specifics here, but if X-box ever gets some decent titles for the 360 we'll definitely appreciate having some around. Unless we go with a strictly all-japanese game regiment that is.

I wasn't sure. The Xboxes aren't Nihongo, I was responding to Enishi. I'm not sure. I thought it would be interesting to play one, not that I actually LIKE them, LOL. I'm pure Nintendo.

Since Mortal Kombat Armageddon is coming out at the end of this month, why not have a MK tournament, like you guys did for Street Fighter at the last con?

I think they just stopped releasing x-box games. That last game for the origional x-box was the new superman game from the movie. Now their only focusing on 360 games. And of course ps3.

Well I should think that's obvious. Obseletion of old hardware is a necessary symptom of the release of new hardware. New console hardware generally has a five year future-proofing, while the old guard is relegated to the hobbyists.

Because from what I've heard the only thing that game has going for it is the variety of characters you can use. Lol.

The new Naruto GNT!EX game for Wii comes out the 22nd of Feb, so APIII should be among the first cons to host that game, which should be huge among le narutards.

Try gamestop's "coming soon"and hopefully you'll find something that people have at least some want and interest in playing.
