Are you still going to have the AMV and or Fanfiction contest again?

What about a Car cosplay contest? That would be cool right?

How about draw-offs in artist alley?

People get paper and 5-10 minutes to draw somthing the judges/audience tells them to draw. Then the judges/audience pick their fav of the drawings.

Goes fast and it's fun to watch people draw. : 3

Fanfiction contest - we'll bring this back, if for no other reason than it is really easy to do since you never have to coordinate people!

AMV contest - would you even come if we didn't have one?! Of course it will be back!

Car-cosplay - We tried to have one this year, and next year we'll try again (plus it doesn't take up any programming space, so why not!) Just be sure to make an entry for this year (and to check in at con-ops!)

Art-off - We had this at AP05 Microcon, and had another as a promotional event in the Ohayocon Dealers room. We'll also be running one at ACen (yay!). It would not be difficult for us to run an art-contest again at AP if people want to see it!

Yes, that means I can anime out my car!-getting one for birthday-

Can winners of the previous year, enter again (AMV/fanfiction)? Of course with different submissions.

Have you ever heard of a con not allowing this?

Other idea I've had are Katamari rolling contest. Each contested gets a roll of duck tape and the person with the biggest ball at the end of the con wins.

I honestly wouldn't know. Anime Punch '06 was my first con ever. ^^

How about a Net battle? I know that alot of Mega Man fans miss out on these, seeing as most are in Japan. Im going to try to set one up for Ohayocon.

An art-off sounds like a great idea, I know I'd have fun doing something like that.

how about a form of anime jeoperdy, we did this alot in high school, you could use topics like name that character, name that show, who made what show, ect...

ok the idea came from avatar but it would so work with everything.
a charater bashing contest like the show Yo Momma, pair up charaters (who we all know would so be going at it) and have them go back and forth on a topic and bash the other charater.

also rbg auctions off TJ all the time and that rocks (we got him this time at ohayocon had to make an atm run and we got sora too!) so how much would it rock if you auctioned off cosplayers! (for charity of coarse not for anyones pocket.) my friend and i were trying to hook that up for sugoicon 2007. but hey if anyone can hook it up at any con would rock.

Eh, I'm going to reserve judgement on the Yo momma thing, though I still don't think it's the best of ideas.

The other one sounds like a neat idea, though, if we got the details of it hammered out. Like, what charities, what exactly would the cosplayers be being auctioned off for (since slavery is frowned upon in polite society, it might be a good thing to decide).. uh, I'm sure there's more, my brain just isn't into thinking on it right now XD
