I was wondering, now that you cosplayed and everything, what are you planning to cosplay next anime punch, or convention you go to?

I was thinking Kon from bleach or something. Maybe someone else, but who knows...

I only have 2-3 new cosplays for 06.

I'm not sure - I have a couple of outfits in the works but I never know when they'll get done - I usually just work on them until they're done without setting an absolute deadline.
I'm currently working on Yue Ying from Dynasty Warriors 4, Yun from Suikoden III, Haku from Naruto, and Kikyou from Inu Yasha.
I'm also seriously thinking about cosplaying Haydee from Gankutsuou but I haven't bought a wig or any materials for that yet.

I'm not entirley sure (Who really is?) But probably Edward Elric again or Namine from KH2, Inuyasha or even Rikku from FFX-2. I'm lening toward Rikku

I just bought all my cosplays for Colossal and Ikasu. I'm being cheap and lazy right now to work on any true big projects for these conventions. I'm an artist at both and I don't have time or money to put in a lot of effort into a huge costume for these small cons.

Although I am sure if you post what you need help with, many people should be able to help you. ^_~ Even here, I know forum members who are cosplayers.

...Admittedly, my Rikku was from KH2, but still the same character, so.. eh. I'll throw out a few tips! Well, a very sparse few tips because yeah, there's definately details that the KH2 version leaves out and other bits it adds.

Get a good wig, or at least a good extension. Rikku? Has a lot of hair. SHE HAS TONS OF THE STUFF. And speaking as a person who has long, thick, blond hair, no real person can have that many braids and still have enough left over for that thick of a ponytail. cosplay.com has some AWESOME wig help.

Hrm. You can probably find some yellow swimsuit material at JoAnn's if you can't find one (it would probably be cheaper too); The straps are actually a navy suspender-type dealio er... good luck on the pouches. At leastyou'll have a place to keep your cards ;p

...and do you know how to knit? Because, and while this is just my opinion, Rikku's scarf looks SO MUCH BETTER when it's actually knit. Because they make it quite clear in the opening sequence in FFX-2 that it is indeed a knit scarf, and while this is just my opinion... seeing a rikku with just a cloth scarf makes it seem a little off. Plus, you'll probably get compliments on the scarf, because yeah. It's a freaking long scarf, and it would show you put some good time into the costume. And er. Stuff like that.

I suggest knitting it, or roping a family member who can into doing it XD. Cloth could still work, I suppose, if you did it right... Then again, I've been knitting most of my life, so it's like second nature to me *shrugs*. Up to you really.

And since I've rambled at length without giving much useful input, I'm just going to shut up now.

no, no that was ALOT of good advice, I think im all set though because I can knit and a friend of mine has a friend that makes clothing and bathing suits so I can get alot of help there! But thanks anyway I didn't know most people where wigs becuase my hair is super thinks and blond but its only down to my shoulders.

Yeah. Mine is super thick and blonde too, but ugh.. It's something a lot of video games characters suffer from, too bloody much hair. Basically, they have like, twice the hair of a normal person, which is why they can have a thick ponytail and HUGE MASSIVE BANGS or something like that up front. I realized that once I had put the braids into the front of my hair and only had a thin ponytail to work with.....at which point, I bought a cheap walmart wig and mutilated it to make the extensions XD

o the only thing though is I can't braid my hair, I know..........sad. I mean I can braid, but If I braid my hair somehow it always comes out uneven. O well...........i'll just have my mom do it............
